Christine Williams Photography

We booked Christine as our wedding photographer back in August of 2008 and we are thrilled with the photos that she snapped for our big day. My husband and I are both camera-​shy and we preferred to have more candid photos than posed ones… and we got exactly what we wanted. Christine listened to our vision and brought it to life. She’s got a creative eye and knows her angles and light. She directed us well during our sessions as we didn’t have a clue what to do! We both found her very warm and easy to work with. We have recommended Christine to others and she has photographed our friends’ wedding since.

We would never hire Christine Williams again. We married at Kits point, and despite the beautiful scenery surrounding us, not a single photo from our 3-​hr session shows any ocean, mountain or city views. You wouldn’t know we married in Vancouver. On one of the photos she tried to photoshop a background in but she did such a poor job-​I wish I could post the photo here for you all to see. Our photos are so over exposed that my legs blend into the wall in some photos and the details of my dress and my husband’s tie are lost in the whites. Christine used a helper but gave her no direction on where to go with the light shield and she ended up just standing around. When we told her we were unhappy with the photos, she started citing clauses from her contract and has refused to meet with us. When asked what the point was for our getting married at Kits Point if there are no photos of the beautiful scenery, her response was ‘memories’. She charged us $ 1200 for 3 hours and honestly it was the biggest waste of money. Our photos do not compare to the quality of photos on her website
