Boston Pizza Restaurants

We live close to this location, so it is convenient even though the service is usually fairly poor.
Tonight was the worse!
Horrible service — was there for over 2 hrs for 5 peopl. No forks on the table, meal took over an hour and 2 were served, and then a 3^rd with first the wrong pizza. They found the correct one 5 min later. Another 7 – 10 min, the other 2 were served,. We had to ask for refills, wait for boxes twice for leftovers, wait for dishes to clear which we piled first because it was so long. We had 2 people serving with a third to bring a few dishes. The excuse was it was Monday night (with a Canucks game & Monday night football over Christmas vacation) and understaffed. They said the servers had to help in the kitchen because it was busy. Actually — we saw 5 tables with people!
As compensation, they lessened the bill by 11%. When I questioned the service manager, she said they felt it was acceptable because we waited 30 min for food. I corrected her and said it was over an hour and she replied «our clocks must be wrong, I have been in the kitchen».
For the price, this is the absolute last time for this location! Beware!!!

Last time ever. Tonight they ran out of some of the key ingredients but instead of asking if we’d like something else, they just sent us a pizza without all the toppings. (All the $ was still on the bill though). When we called to tell them we noticed a mistake they told us they ran out of some toppings earlier in the evening. The girl on the phone apologized and asked of we would like something else sent out. I declined as we seem to have nothing but trouble from this location. Next time I’ll go to one of the cheaper pizza chains that don’t seem to have these types of issues. Pretty poor service, Boston Pizza.

This location has always been amazing to me. And has seen all my ups and downs.
The staff here are very friendly. However they should have someone seated at the front desk so that they don’t keep customers waiting too long. And they always check up on you when your at your seat so that your glass is never empty.
There’s a good amount of seating so the wait isn’t usually long when you go during their peak hours.
The food here is amazing (fully cooked) and the flavours are on point. Very hot and fresh tasting as well.
I think guildford Boston Pizza should take a few notes from this location.

Boston Pizza is one of those places that makes up for the lack of quality in the way of quantity. Although their servings are generous it’s not going to blow you away. Everything is pretty nominal and average.

Went to Boston Pizza for lunch today. There was six of us and after waiting 20 minutes the waitress forgot our drink order and still had not taken our food order. Although she said ‘sorry’ you could tell she really didn’t care. We walked out. Better to leave than spend money on a meal and be angry about it. I never mind when a restaurant is slow and backed up if the server is good.
Also they had NO KIDS MENUS!
We used order take out/​delivery from here and it was always great. Last few times we ordered they either got the order wrong or the food was so cold we had to reheat it. We won’t be ordering from or going to this location anymore.

The only reason I’m giving even one star is because you can’t give 0. I usually order take out from this restaurant and I would have to say that they’ve gotten my order right just as many times as they’ve gotten it wrong. They’re constantly forgetting dips or adding meat to the food. They do not take any refunds so we usually end up with vouchers but if your always messing up our orders why would we want to order from you again? Last night was the last straw, I ordered a Perogy pizza with no bacon, Santa Fe ranch and cactus cuts for my brother. When he brought the food home my pizza had bacon on it, I tried to call them but no one would pick up, being out 15 bucks with a pizza I couldn’t eat we drove back to the restaurant. Once there they told me that they wouldn’t be able to make me another pizza and gave me a voucher. I told the manager that this wasn’t the first time that this had happened and offered the tip of double checking the food before it left the place. She was not pleased but agreed. By the time we got home my brothers food was cold and cactus cuts usually only taste good fresh. Honestly I would rather just go to another boston pizza even though this one is closer the customer service sucks and I’m tired of being disappointed and having to drive back to the restaurant especially late at night.

Great greeter, good host. Had lasagna and meat balls. Usually meat balls taste crappy, but really surprised the taste was great, not overly loud, dress casual, bit pricy, but worth it, I thought

Service is usually mediocre at best, food is typical BP fare. Usually a last resort for late nite dining in the area. Don’t expect to be wowed by the food or service

I have eaten at Boston Pizza for decades. Wife likes the food, I can take it or leave it.
The service at this restaurant is the worst of all of the ones I have eaten at.
When we normally go there the food is generally cold and service is slow. If there is a large party there (15+) turn around and run. It will take at least 45 minutes to get your food. Also won’t honour coupons properly (had free kids meal coupons).
Last visit a couple of days ago made us swear to never visit this one again. We did something wrong (I suppose) and the waitresses gave us all looks like we should drop dead on the spot. Wife never says anything about this stuff but told the manager straight up we won’t be back.
A new manager who ended up waiting on us was good. He apologized all over the place, gave the kids an extra treat for messing up their order. He also said he was shocked by the waitress and that morale was extremely low in the place.
This is reflected in the customers. Other BP’s are usually quite busy with waits at peak times. This place is usually pretty empty.
Should says the people who seat you are quite nice.
There is a Guildford one that we used to go to and knew the great manager quite well. Change because this was closer, guess we are going back.

I come here around twice a month after Paintball to have some brews and good eats with my friends. I enjoy Boston Pizza, and go to many all over the place, but this one is always hit and miss.
I order the same thing every time — Bandera Pizza Bread, and Chipotle Wings, with a beer. Can’t go wrong. Right? The Bandera pizza bread is sometimes cold, or hard. Other places it’s always nice and soft and delicious.
The service is also hit and miss, sometimes our glasses stay full, othertimes they are empty until we wave a server down to refill it. Not really a problem, but service is service!
Anyone who hasn’t tried Boston Pizza really should. Though the prices are increasing (where is it not increasing, though?) the food is always consistent. Try the Bandera Pizza Bread and Chiptole Breaded BBQ wings, they are awesome!

This has to be the best BP in the Guildford-​Fleetwood area of Surrey. The staff is always friendly and the food is always great. I usually choose between the Jambalaya and the Smoky Mountain Spaghetti with meatballs. I love my meat, especially beef. OH AND IN BALL FORM! Sooo awesomes.
