Very nice servers! They come around to ask if you want more broth as well. Too bad no substitutions: as a vegetarian I would love to see more variety. Also if you order the Korean bean soup pot, keep in mind the kimchi in the soup brings up the heat a little. Love the décor!

Absolutely terrible customer service! Female server was blunt and rude. She would not let us sit in a booth even though the restaurant was empty on a Sunday morning. When asked about the menu, she was not accommodating at all. Took her forever to write our orders and just did not care for our business. Do yourself a favour and don’t come here!

Getting thumbs up from me! I’ve been to all of the locations here in the lower mainland and this one is the cleanest out of them all. The service is also amazing here. They asked me how my food was! A lot of consistency with the food. I have no complaints!!! I got the Hokkaido milk tea with hantien jelly and pudding. Seriously, crack. I always get the curry hot soup medium spice. YAAASSSS. Would I come back? FOSHO. Edit: I briefly read over the reviews of other Unilocalers and they mentioned bad service but I didn’t get a snooty server at all! Definitely no subs for anything and also all of the locations can be slow as they are partially cooking the food/soup a little before they bring it out.

I went yesterday(Sunday) AND today for lunch with different friends. They were busy yesterday, made us(2ppl) wait for 15−20min even though there were 2 tables(4ppl) available. So far I’ve tried Korean style and lamb myself. My friends tried seafood and miso. Great base stock, free stock refills, generous portion, spicy level option available, the complimentary teas were a bit sweet for me. Most of the servers weren’t that nice as few ppl commented previously(perhaps due to busy traffic), however our trainee server(same person from yesterday) was very kind and sweet. Overall 4.5, I’d go back & recommend to my friends. *pls be advised of the strong smell in the restaurant. i was told it was the stinky tofu. *feel free to get stamp card, visit 10 and u get 1 soup for free!

This place is SOGOOD. They give you so much food you’d wish you had more than one stomach. And the food itself is so fresh and plentiful. The broth is so good and they fill it for you without any extra charge! if you like phở you’ll love their broth! The only thing I wish they did was open a bigger restaurant. The waiting times during dinner rush is pretty bad and considering how much food they give you it’s not like they’re turning tables quickly. Otherwise, the service is fantastic! They’re always circling making sure guests are happy. The prices are really good for the amount food and service you get as well. When you, definitely give the seafood pot a try!

Absolutely obsessed with boiling point ever since I came back from Toronto and tried it for the first time! We did not ever experience the terrible service the other reviewers have talked about but one waitress did forget our snow cubes that we ordered this one time. It was no big deal though, I mean, everyone makes mistakes. I would definitely give the food 5⁄5. My favourite is the Taiwanese spicy hot pot thing(the bit more expensive option) but it is a little too spicy for me. I do wish they had that in a less spicier option. The soup for that is my favourite though. Many other soups combos do come in different spiciness options though! Do try making your sauce with the little jars on the table. I love dipping the meat and veggies in them since I discovered it. Tip is to try to come at the lunch times 11−3pm. It is cheaper and the stuff are the same I believe. And plus you also get free teas!!! I LOVETHEIRTEAS. The black tea is my favourite. It comes iced in a little plastic cup and is the perfect pairing for their hot pot. I love this place and have gone many times already(-:

Came for dinner on a Sunday evening and stopped in around 6pm. Luckily, we arrived at a good time and were able to grab a table quickly. A line up formed soon after and there was probably a 20 – 30 minute wait depending on the size of the party? Once seated, expect for the waiter/waitress to approach your table soon afterwards. There are 10 hotpot options to choose from and then a number of add on’s that you can request for at an additional cost. My friends and I all ordered #7, Tomato Veggie, All Veggie. If you are vegetarian, this is the only option that you have and they have a limited amount, so call in advance to check if they still have stock or come early! Upon ordering, it took about 10 minutes for our food to come. That was when the fun began! Here’s the thing about hotpot: if the food isn’t cooked properly, you don’t need to wait for it to be sent back or whatever, you get to throw it back in and let it cook longer! At the same time, you also take ownership for how badly your food may taste if you’re terrible at determining when something is ready. Prepare yourselves adequately if you choose to tackle this mission. Minor details: the fire for two of our hotpot died and they relit it quite quickly for us – just wave someone down! After perhaps half an hour, somebody came by to ask if we wanted the fire to be put out to avoid having the bottom burn. Aside from that, no actual check ups or refilling water from the waiters/waitresses. Customer Service: 3⁄5 — didn’t really check in on us, which wasn’t a problem as we took initiative to wave people down. However, they did forget certain things that we ordered and the waitress seemed very short with us(she seemed to spend more time chatting with other employees). Ergo, the 3⁄5. Food: 5⁄5 — absolutely amazing! We were fortunate enough to get the last three tomato veggie hot pots of the night, and in addition to the hot pots we added cabbage, egg and udon. Also ordered ramen, but they never brought it. Very filling and yummy! We each had one and it was just perfect! Ambiance: 5⁄5 — lighting is very bright, music is quite loud, which gives the restaurant a cozy feel. 14 or so tables available, three washrooms in the back(male, female & unisex)… overall, no complaints!

Tried making reservations via phone and was told that they don’t take reservations for less than 8 people. Fine. Called the Burnaby location and they took the reservation no problem. Silly policies. Food not bad, took really long to come though.

Absolutely terrible service from the spotty waitress. We came in at 11am with only one customer in the restaurant. Would not let us sit on the booths even though we had 3 people and said it was only for 5 people only… In an empty restaurant. Took for ever to serve us and when I asked about the lunch special asked what if we don’t like the combo she was very blunt to say no changes no add ons. Not your typical flexible Asian restaurant. When I said Lets leave she just walked off like she didn’t care. I told her very specifically the service was extremely bad! A bit annoyed by the restrictions but it was her I don’t give a s*** attitude was what made us walk out.
