I read all the good reviews on Unilocal, and went there to buy some samosas. They were delicious indeed, but the next morning I got food poisoning. It took me 3 days to recover from it. I think they don’t follow food safety standards. Not going there again, ever.

Tucked away just off the highway, this one is easy to miss. Don’t be fooled by this hole-in-the-walls modest appearance, their samosas pack a punch! In a Little India like Surrey, southeast Asian food is available no matter where you go, and samosas practically grow on trees, but it’s hard to sort the good from the bad. Samosas here are fresh and cheap! Two veggie samosas for only a dollar is a bargain that makes my wallet happy, but diners beware — they’re not mild! They are not for the faint of heart, and if you are sensitive to spice, your tastebuds could possibly catch fire. There is a small seating area inside, but this restaurant is mostly for take-out.

Really good veggie samosas. Bought a few sweets and they were okay.

This location used to be called Kwality Sweets & Restaurant but has changed owners and Name. Now called Bharat there is at least one thing that has not changed one bit. The Samosas here are the best samosas that I have ever eaten! A samosa should always be made fresh and by an East Indian person. All others pale in comparison. The veggie samosas are 2 for a dollar and are quite spicy. Stay away if you cannot handle spice as these will kill you. They also have a large selection of other Indian foods such as Butter Chicken an pakoras to name two. Since the change over I have only tried the samosas but if they are anything like the rest of the food it is amazing. There are very few seats here as it is really more of a takeout restaurant. Plan on taking the food home or having a picnic or something like that as a better choice.
