Usually prefer Second Cup to any other chain coffee shop, but certain staff are incredibly rude. Don’t think I’ll be coming to this location anymore.

It is the closest to TTC mall entrance coffee location and I find it the best. Coffee tastes good and prices are nice even though they’ve increased slightly. Great selection of food. Girls from the morning shifts are very friendly and helpful, love them. Afternoon and evening people are trying their best, so nothing to complain about. I’ve never had a bad experience there! In addition, many times I’ve seen that if you don’t like your drink or quality is not as good as it’s supposed to be they will replace if for no charge. Same if the food item from the batch is too hard or dry. Sometimes can be lined up but there’s not that many people working at once, so waiting for a bit will not harm you.

The women staff can come off very rude and don’t know what a smile is… but they have really good coffee. The flavoured brews are my favourite, just don’t come here expecting amazing customer service. This place is strictly a coffee shop for me, sometimes can be slow and a bit line up. Make sure you use your rewards card.

Not a fan of this location… manager is rude to her coworkers… and customers… besides her favourites. I never really worry about rude baristas as I know their jobs are difficult… but this manager has never been nice. She is also rude to her staff as well… thankfully this is just a fast grab and go coffee place. Also… it needs to be cleaned more often.

As one of two coffee shops located in the Scarborough Town Centre’s food court(the other being Tim Horton’s), Second Cup provides quality lattes and desserts to those stopping by for a quick caffeine jolt. I was informed there was a Starbucks in the mall, but couldn’t locate it, but was happy to see that Second Cup had a much wider(and better) selection of drinks and food items. That was good enough for me and the quaint and convenient location of this Second Cup allowed me to kill time while I waited to attend my scheduled appointments with Citizenship and Immigration Canada(CIC) in the federal office building(200 Town Centre Court) next door.
