It’s trying to improve. No Frills is still there, this is one of the few No Frills that has a butcher station for meats and fresh fish which is useful, and having the Bulk Barn is also great, for getting quinoa for less than brands like Bob’s Red Mill. or other healthy and gluten free items. I believe this No Frills has so much potential, it could be much better, but I suppose it’s only going to be what the clientel demands it to be. I’ve recently put in requests to the store manager to carry organic items, and healthy foods like Kefir(yogurt) and low calorie breads like dempsters hollywood bread(40 calories /slice) and to be a little better organized. maybe have a section that caters to those who care about health and waist management. it took me like 10 minutes to find gluten free bread, and i overheard another shopping complaining about there being no gluten free bread, so once I found it, I tracked them down and let them it was there afterall. There is a new gym in this mall, it’s a no frills sort of gym, it’s very cost effective, and brought to you by the GoodLife Fitness family. the cost to be a member is honestly like loose change! Joe Fresh has a big presence there, I quite like Joe Fresh style, and so that is always a positive addition to this ‘ghetto mall’ as it’s been flagged on Unilocal as such.

I wouldnt refer to this place as «Golden» maybe bronze… or tin? There are very useful things to be found here though. A big No Frills store, a Bulk Barn and The –Best –Dollar– Store– I –Have –Ever– Seen. It is massive. It’s like a Party Packagers meets Honest Eds meets Dollarama. It is the Shangri-La of Dollar Stores. The mall is rounded off by some other nondescript places such as a vitamin store, a bank, a nail salon and an employment centre.
