I have been in a bunch of Home Hardwares, and this one (Parkway Mall, Ellesmere & Victoria Park) is not like any I’ve seen before. It has a lot of dollar store items that are not typical for a Home Hardware, and the drywall knives are locked up in a cabinet. During their advertised blowout sales, («never before… never again prices!») the store is packed with people looking for the items on the flyer and it’s impossible to walk around the store. I generally avoid this store for that reason. I love Home Hardware stores in general because they will have products that aren’t at Canadian Tire, but for this store, for me, the crowds are not worth the hassle.

This is a very special Hardware store… it poses as a dollar store/​liquidators but that‘s okay. I have found a lot of deals in their aisles. At first glacé, it looks uninviting but if you take the time to dig around you‘ll definitely find something worthwhile.
