Great tasting hot pot! The spicy soup base is actually spicy! You pay for the amount of food you want, instead of stuffing yourself senseless. Would come again soon!

Best Hotpot, Really authentic, but a bit pricy. It’s a chained restaurant originated from Szchuan where people knows how to cook spicy food. The flavor is really amazing and the most authentic Szchuan Hotpot I had in Vancouver. One star deducted for being a little pricy

First of all, a little bit pricey but it’s literally the best spicy hotpot in town! I used to go to Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot in Richmond(Lansdowne Mall) but it went down after they added the All You Can Eat options. 2 kinds soup base has no additional charge, they just charge whichever is more expensive. I always order ChongQing Style spicy soup base and let my friends choose the other kind. Although each person is charged $ 2.50 for sauce(self serve), but you have a great selection from soy sauce, vinegar, MSG(very traditional in ChongQing), sesame oil, mushroom sauce, coriander herb, green onions, a variety of red pepper paste and chili oil, etc. Oh, there’s fruits and appetizers too! I think it’s a smart idea for business owner to earn extra money. As for customers, it’s worth it and mixing your own sauce can enhance hot pot experience BY A LOT! Always full especially after 8, there’s people waiting at the door. They take reservations expect for group of two. Service are either VERYNICE or WHATEVER, I guess it depends on the server you call. And they really need more attention on refilling tea, because I always need to ask for it and it’s a small cup lol. Beer are expensive. Food, you get more than enough choices from seafood, meat & veggie. Very fresh sliced beef & lamb! It’s good that you can order half portion, but not for all. If they can change that, definitely a 5 star!

Splendid gorgeous fantastic Chinese Chongqing hot pot! This review is written by a Chinese Sichuan local. No more comments. Trust me. Best ever hot pot in North America!

I’ve been told by a Szechuan friend that this is an Vancouver offspring of a successful Szechuan local hot pot chain and the spicy soup base is the bomb. And indeed the soup is pretty good albeit not good enough. You see we ordered the spiciest level and while it has a very nice aroma it was still quite light to taste. Since my companion can’t take too spicy we had half and half for the soup base with the other half being the mushroom soup. It was rather loaded with condensed chicken seasoning. The food portions were large enough to feed three people if you were to order the following: — Sliced marble beef — Sliced marble lamb — Shrimp paste — Oyster mushroom — Needle mushroom — Woodear mushroom — Oyster — Pork Blood — Frozen Tofu — Mixed vegetable basket And I love the crispy rice squares as snack and the wide selection of various sauces. They have a tiny section of Chinese kimchi and fruits for snacks also. The corkage is $ 10 which is nice and I recommend a dry Riesling or gerwurtraminer to pair with the food and be sure to wear something you will throw into the laundry later because you will smell like a walking hot pot. Cheerio!

So it looks like this place has reincarnated into yet another hot pot place. Parking is available in the large strip mall parking lot. Make sure you obey all signage as there’s an attendant in the booth. The inside looks pretty classy, with the pale walls and dark wood interior. Special mention goes to the sauce station. This is one the largest I’ve ever seen. There are some 20 items. See photo. There’s even a bowl of MSG available! Beautiful. Food quality is actually quite decent Why 3 stars instead of 4? Wow, this place is expensive. There is no AYCE option. The soup bases are $ 10 each, or $ 13 for two(best deal). To access the sauce station, it’s $ 2.50 on top per person. This is how they nail you. The food items pile up VERY quickly. The bill for our food(see pics) was $ 29 per person before tip. We ended up loading up on oranges to try to fill ourselves. The quality is decent, but with so many less pricey options in the immediate vicinity such as Chubby Lamb, I have a hard time justifying a return to this place.
