This place is busy. We had to go here cause my brother needed Windows software for his computer upgrade and alot of IT guys seem to recommend this place. It’s new, it’s popular and they have alot of Samsung stuff on the floor(or so it seemed.). I was looking at the I-phone cases and there was one case that had a flip top to it. I’ve been looking for one of these, but it was gold in colour and I wasn’t sure if it was a hard or soft case and the back side wasn’t visible. No problem. I just wanted to look at it and make sure it was the one I wanted. I asked the girl if it was possible to open it to view it, but she said«No, they can’t open it.» I asked another rep the same question, and again«No». so I asked if I bought, it, opened it right in the store, just to see what it looked like on the back side to make sure it was what I wanted… and he said«If I return it, it’s a 50% restocking fee» Eh??? I even talked to another store rep and the same blank answer. No.(not even a simple sorry, or let me talk to my manager and I’ll see what I can do) Maybe the prices are good, but I can say one thing. With the lack of service, it’s only a matter of time. I walked out of there, decided NOT to buy the LCD monitor and said forget it. Never again will I come here. What they thought was a $ 19.99 sale could have actually be a bigger sale and a return customer! I’m sorry, but for something as simple as that request, I was appalled at the lack of wanting to help a customer for something so little when there was much more to gain. Maybe the manager will understand this more once the newness of this location has finished and they have to compete day to day with other electronic retailers long term.

sure everything is cheaper here and you can find most of the things you’re looking for, but they have something called«restocking fee». Meaning if you want to refund something, they’ll charge you that fee(it’s 15% of the item you paid for).

This local grown computer hardware/software mini-chain has become a force to be reckoned with. Typically people end up at big box retailers over the little guys for the the debatable superior support. The peace of mind that if something goes wrong the shop you got your computer from won’t be out of business before the warranty runs out. However small shops typically offer very competitive pricing if you know what to look for. This shop has a few locations and although the parking is a bit of a nuisance here, the service is definitely up there and the fact that they’ve been around for so long really helps when making large purchases. Their knowledge of computers is certainly far more specialized than the high turnover employees at Best Buy or Futureshop. They’re blunt and to the point here which is a good thing. You know exactly what to expect. That product has only 1 month warranty, after which you have to contact the manufacturer directly? Well I’m glad to know this without being deceived into thinking the store will take care of everything for the full year.
