Ice Level Source For Sports

Best sport shop around! I have been using Ice Level for 15+ years. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Always have what I need with a huge selection of new gear. Definitely recommend for any hockey and/​or lacrosse player.

Great deals to be had here… especially if you have a sharp eye and see what’s been on sale for awhile… doesn’t hurt to ask, that’s how I got my Montréal pads, literally below cost price ;)

I never knew this place existed at Ironwood Plaza until we got involved in hockey a couple years ago.
This is a fantastic Hockey (and lacrosse) store in Richmond for equipping yourself with hockey gear and related equipment. Everyone there is incrediblyy friendly and knowledgeable.
Also when it comes to skate sharpening, they do it right every single time. I refuse to take our skates anywhere else for sharpening.
Their selection is excellent, prices are fair, their consultative expertise is always available. Make sure you get on their email blasts as they’re always having great sales.

Started out really liking this place but it feels as though they’ve become less customer service oriented and become more focused on making the extra dollar.
The other day, I dropped off my skates to get sharpened and while I waited, had asked to try on a few pairs of skates as I was possibly in the market for a new pair. The reps first response was, «are you ready to buy?» And went on to further elaborate that if I wasn’t ready to buy, then I could not try on skates because there were a lot of people doing online ordering instead of buying at their shop.
While I recognize this is a problem for a lot of our retailers in Canada, I was only inquiring about possibly getting new skates. If I received great service, and found a comfortable and affordable pair of skates that solved some of my problems with my older skates, I might have considered buying right there and then. But the fact is, they refused to help me period because they were afraid of me «buying online». Now, I won’t even consider buying anything from here anymore.
