I usually don’t go Chinese mall on No 3. Road & Hazelbridge way coz the parking is terrible on weekend even weekdays sometimes! If you expect this is spacious and cleanness supermarket, it’s not the place for you. This is not my regular grocery store but my mom bought me a pack of hot pot hand-cut sliced beef few weeks ago and my hubby really liked it. Therefore, I tried to stop at Empire supermarket and buy it for our hot pot. They sell AA sliced beef and it’s really good for hot pot. Inside the supermarket, they have bakery shop, live seafood, meat and most Chinese produces. However, I found the most of items are a bit expensive than other supermarkets and not all in good quality.

When i’m in those moods where i don’t want to fight the circus at T&T, then this is the next best thing. It’s clean, modern looking, actually good service, good selection, it’s just the parking really really sucks, & i know it’s prob. no different than… any other parking lot in Rmd, but there’s traffic controllers here! amazing… when you enter to make a right into here fr NO. 3 road – the only way on this side due to the island — you can only go straight, no left as you enter, since it’s a one way only, as cars are leaving here. so there’s only 2 aisles really. back to the inside: a good 4 – 6 steady cashiers. Junk food’s on the right, so naturally i go there first. Prices are similar to TnT, but sometimes there’s deals. Find their specialty imported cookies/chocolate from Italy better here that you can’t find TnT. Seafood, meat, produce on the left.

As Amy T already stated, a decent asian store with an attached bakery, butcher and herbs/medicine stop. Aisles of fruits and vegetables, seafood, snacks, drinks, noodles, miscellaneous kitchen items, frozen foods, and more also grace this store. If you’re nearby and want a place that isn’t bustling with tons of people, it’s a good stop.

A Chinese grocery store with a bakery, butcher and herbs/medicine shop attached. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but you can get quite a bit of groceries. Whether it’s vegetables, meats, snacks or specialty Asian items… you can find it here. They even have a tiny organic section available, — it may be just a small shelf, but hey, that’s something! In the back, you’ll find different types of cuts of pork and poultry, even quail. To the right of that, there a BBQ area so you can pick up some crispy pork, BBQ pork or soya chicken as well. The prices are average, but for a one stop shop, I would definitely shop here again if I were in the area.
