They made a mistake calculating our bill and refused to refund our money when we pointed the mistake out. This is not how you run a restaurant, folks. Stay away if you value good and honest service!

We told by a friend this restaurant have been renovated. When we pop in the eco of the loud noise scarcely me, immediately request the waiter let us seat to next door., unfortunately our discout coupon only apply to this restaurant. Both restaurant is link, they need to improvement of sound absorban. They served Taiwanese food, taste is good and is comparable with others, except the serving dish is small. i am not sure that is this because we come in with discount voucher so they decided to reduced the serving size. Both waiters serving is rude. They need to improvement on noise redution, Menu price adjustment, and also waiters training.

Not worth the money, service not good. I told the waitress the taste of duck is a bit funny and it is big different compares to last time. The duck skin turning black. The waitress replied: it has been the same way, we always reheat the duck in the microwave. I was surprised the waitress they would reheat the duck with microwave before put on the table. Will never go back. $ 70 dinner for 2 person, completely waste time and money.

We needed a small quick lunch, and this one was tried by my partner’s mother, saying it was good, with that said this was one that was always on the radar and I never noticed this place prior to when my partner pointed it out. I’ve always known about Zephr Tea House(bubble tea joint next door!) and never ever noticed this place. So after shopping for groceries at Izumiya we came over here. The first thing I noticed once walking in was how comfortable this place looked. The décor was stylish yet clean with a very welcoming entranceway. There was a shelf with miniature cups, and a framed Georgia Straight newspaper article about the chef and the difference from Taiwanese food and that of Cantonese food and where he had learned his craft from. We weren’t overly hungry, yet we wanted to see what this ‘Beef Noodle’ was about. The menu’s were firmly binded, nice small things, something you would find at a high end restaurant. We ordered the bowl to share, and while we were waiting I decided to take more notice to the restaurant, the interesting opening on the ceiling showing wooden pillars, the similar pillar design at the entranceway of this restaurant, gives it a classic yet contemporary look. My partner decided to use the washroom and at that moment we realized they are sharing the one kitchen that Zephr is using next door. Our bowl eventually came, and it was pretty big in size for the price, usually you get a big bowl, that is deep, but your not really getting much, this one was different, where the bowl was big, deep, and filled to the top. In this bowl, from what we could see before dissecting it like a mad scientist with our chopsticks, was a set of bok choy, some finely diced pickled mustard greens over the top of the chunks of beef just peaking over the sea of broth. We took a sip of this deep redish brown broth, and it was deep flavoured, like it’s been over the fire for more than just a few hours, not overly savoury and overly sodium’d! You know when you have a good bowl of Taiwanese beef noodle soup… is when there is nothing left in the bowl and that’s what the final result was. The beef was firm, and tender, not overly so where it was falling apart once you pick it up, and it was enough meat to noodle ratio, no rip off here! I think I was expecting a little more from their noodles in here as they were more on the lines of eating thick Shanghai noodles, it’s different, but the whole package is good. I’m going to have to come back here and try their other dishes, but for Richmond if your looking for beef noodle, come on in here! Also in the paper article there’s a lot of passion from the chef on this dish and how his mom made it, I would say not bad food if your growing up with this type of stuff at home in your mouth!

I’ve been here a couple of times, it hasn’t been busy on either occasion, and each time I’ve enjoyed the experience, though I would say the food is good rather than amazing, their smoked duck in particular was something of a disappointment, it was too moist and lacked the deep, savoury flavours I’ve come to expect and appreciate in well prepared duck. I did enjoy the majority of the dishes, and bubble tea is available as this restaurant is affiliated with the adjacent Zephyr Café. Though nothing stood out as being singularly amazing I will happily come back to this restaurant with friends.

The best abalone mushroom and pea sprout stir fry I’ve ever had. One of the waiters is the chef’s father, and if you ask him, he will happily and proudly tell you stories about his son. Short wait, close to the metro. Wish I could come every week.

I always passed by Alderbridge Way and saw the sign of Delicious cuisine. We finally tried it today. It served Taiwanese and northern Chinese food. I was very impressed with both Delicious Cuisine’s food and service. We had house special stir fried dry squid with dry tofu and onion, spicy pork with cabbage and pan fried dumpings. The food were good and tasty. Just a bit oily and not spicy enough.
