I came here the other day on the way from tea from a place in the same complex. I wanted to get some fruits for a smoothie that I was making and decided to come here for cheap bananas and some strawberries. Prices were reasonable for produce as expected and the store is well organized. What did bother me was that there were some elderly trying to budge in front of me and when I called them out on it they played the, «I don’t speak English card» and the lady at the til allowed me this to happen. I hate being line aggressive, however, eventually I had to.

Solid 3.5 stars if you’re ok with less selection than a T&T but it’s a lot less headache with no pushy customers in multi-aisles. Especially if you’re here to get in and get out quickly. Full-service produce, with meat, poultry, fruits & vegetables; just less of the junk food and any processed, boxed goodies lol. Prices are reasonable too. In fact, the clay jugs of vinegar’s on sale now. Parking’s ample too.

I really like shopping for veggies here. The veggies are really clean and not waterlogged like other places. Not much fruit selection, the meat department is very friendly and accommodating. My fave is, they sell Organic Chestnut snack bags here for 99 cents, the cheapest around town.

Good Asian supermarket for all your basic needs. Good place to buy pork for Chinese soup and items for hot pot they have a good variety at mediocre prices. They also have fresh seafood and many Chinese vegetables.

It’s a full to medium size Chinese supermarket located at Union Square. 2000 Supermarket is clean and selling meat and poultry, live fish and seafood and imported Asian food and seasoning. I find they selling top grade/fresh vegetable, therefore, I go and buy my Chinese food all the time since they opened. Meat Section: The staffs are happy to cut pork ribs/cheeks per request. Vegetable section: Few ladies are making up the vegetable and pack it in bags. They pick the fresh and nice veggie in bag in order to sell it better price, at the mean time, you don’t have to pick the rot leafs when you washing it.

A good asian supermarket equipped with the essentials of live seafood, butcher, fruits, vegetables, asian snacks and candies, noodles, drinks, and more. I mostly come here for the frozen hot pot meats — cheap and good quality beef, chicken, pork, and lamb packed in good sized portions. The shabu shabu beef is ~$ 7 with the premium ~$ 9. Pork and chicken are ~$ 4. Lamb is ~$ 7. Parking is a little bit of a pain at times but once inside the supermarket, it’s generally not busy and it’s a quick in and out stop.

2000 Supermarket, I’ve been on and off shopping here for specialty items that you can’t find in a Safeway. This last trip we ended up getting dungeoness crabs and a few lobster. They’ve got a neat selection of ramen /instant noodles in the back and on the far left is the freezer section. Just check it out and see what’s there. It’s like most Asian grocery markets now and like Cody S wrote, it’s not as hectic as those larger supermarkets, so you can shop with ease. After you’re done there, check out the bubble tea place around the corner or have a bowl of Taiwanese noodles and snacks just next door.

This is a great Chinese supermarket. The selection is great and it is not nearly as crowded as Osaka or T&T if you need to get Asian food staples. The prices are comparable to anywhere else and they always have great prices on the fish and vegetables. Big fan.
