Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toronto – Markham

Great service this time around! I think we were there during weekday, that could be the reason. But staff was all smiles as usual, and every concern or issue was address promptly, place is clean as always. I love sitting out on patio during summer, always has fresh hot coffee. Great place to spend the night! pool was open this time around, which was pleasant for the kids. We the adults always hang out at the hotel late at night since the kids are upstairs sleeping, so the lounging area is lovely. it’s close to everything as usual. Thank you staff, will be back!

Wow! Was I ever super impressed by this Holiday Inn… and an Express at that!
Introduction.
This hotel is sleek, modern, clean and everything that you would NOT think a Holiday Inn Express is supposed to be. My boyfriend and I walked in and were greeted kindly by two front desk staff. My boyfriend just recently was upgraded to Platinum which holds a bevy of perks such as free upgrade (we couldn’t get it because the hotel was fully booked!), and extra points.
Room 611.
Another WOW! The room was so modern and clean and sleek! It was clearly designed very thoughtfully. Pillows are labelled Soft or Firm for your comfort. Flat screen tv, snacks, fridge, safety box, sitting area, and electronic hook ups to ensure your laptop/​phones can be fully charged. The bathroom was not bad either! Standing shower with glass doors, toiletries from Bath and Body (!!) and stand-​alone hair dryer.
Amenities.
This is an Express hotel so no fancy lounge or famous 5-​star restaurant. However, there is an eating area and breakfast is complimentary which involves basic juice/​coffee/​pastries/​toast/​milk/​pancakes/​yogurt/​fruit, etc… Not bad for complimentary breakfast! All healthy as well.
Overall, I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I were in the area. I was going to a wedding at the Richmond Hill Golf Club and the Sheraton was fully booked. Glad I chose this place. The price was reasonable too ($ 118 excluding taxes).
Definitely a big fan of this hotel.

Spent two nights here when travelling with family group of 6. We booked one of their suites and were not disappointed. The rooms and all other public areas were very clean and modern and extremely comfortable. The daily breakfast buffet in the lobby was really nice with good selection of bacon, eggs, sausage, bagels, english muffins, and much much more; and much better than those other places that give you a muffin and cereal and call it a complete meal. Our stay was that enjoyable that right up until we checked out we were all on the fence about staying longer because it was so relaxing and comfortable.
I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable stay without any worries.
