I’d rate it 2.75 out of 5. For me I find that in general, in the province of Quebec good authentic Asian food is years away from other provinces in Canada. Ontario, BC being the leading in terms of authenticity quality and price. In Quebec City I have yet to come and eat at an Asian restaurant that I would classify as not being what I call«Quebec-Asian Stir Fry»! More often than non there is always the Quebec favourite«General Tao’s chicken». You would think with the popularity of this dish that he travelled with Samuel De Champlain discovering New France. Alas people… it’s just fried chicken with a sweet… spicy/tangy sauce! Other famous other QS dishes are Beef basil, Chicken«fried noodle» nest with vegetables and other items such as Ginger chicken, Imperial rolls, Spring rolls and Shrimp sautéed with Vegetables. On this evening I felt like noodles. So I asked for the chicken noodle dish served with thai noodle soup and two spring rolls. Soup was okay and Spring rolls were decent also. Noodle dish was mediocre. It was served just like other restaurants do with fried noodles with a sauce and vegetables. But on this version they put fresh cilantro on it as well which I was not the biggest fan of but«oh well»! Compared to other Quebec Stir fry it was so — so. flavour and taste was okay. Chicken didn’t taste the freshest but was edible. Service form the owner was quite friendly and I sat near the front so I had the opportunity to hear him greet many regulars. It’s through his positive attitude and service that I bump it up to 3 stars! If you have no other choice for Asian it’s edible but I wouldn’t consider it memorable!
