Normandin

Let me be clear, I only ate here as I was staring at the hotel. I expected more than I should have, while the food (supposedly lasagna, but tasted more like pizza toppings on noodles) was ok, the service was awful. I saw my server twice — once after is waited so long I ordered all at once, then only to drop the food. No follow up, no check ins, no refill on my drink. Now, had the place been jammed with people and a line waiting, I could forgive. That was not the case here.
Not until I finished eating and say for 10 more minutes did my server return.
Thankfully, my last night here, so I won’t be back. Ever.

Dinner here last night. Service was not good, waitress was cleaning the kitchen, sweeping the restaurant and such when we were still waiting for food.
Food was less than satisfying. I have never seen smaller chicken wings or a smaller portion of nachos and the onion rings were terrible, French fries are likely from frozen. Would never return willingly.

J’ai eu un club sandwich. Il était bien présenté pour un repas typique des restaurants.
Il est ouvert ²⁴⁄₇. C’est bon si vous préférez de manger le déjeuner à minuit.
L’hôtel Normandin à côté est aussi de luxe!

We were staying at the hotel and decided to check out the restaurant for a late dinner (it’s open ²⁴⁄₇!) our first night in Quebec.
They have a pretty extensive menu– pizza, pasta, fish/​chicken/​steak dishes, breakfast all day & desserts. Everyone should be able to find something he likes. We ordered a vegetarian pizza & a Vegetarian Deluxe pizza which is personal pizza. Both were very good– plenty of toppings & not greasy at all! I would definitely recommend the Vegetarian Deluxe. For dessert we had a brownie w/​ice cream which was alright but nothing to write home about.
The décor was nice and the service was awesome– despite the fact that our waitress could barely speak any English & we didn’t know French. She was so patient and cheerful that we managed just fine!

Petit arrêt au Normandin avant la séance de cinéma au IMAX.
La place n’était pas trop remplie et nous avons tout de suite été accueillis par une charmante serveuse.
On a choisi une table en angle, les banquettes sont très confortables!
Le menu est très varié, nous avons tous opté pour une pizza. J’ai choisi la Suprême en combo avec des frites: écoeurante! Beaucoup de garniture et une très bonne pâte moelleuse. Mon chum à préféré la pizza croûte mince aux quatre fromage, il s’est régalé aussi. Notre ami à lui aussi beaucoup aimé la sienne.
En résumé, service numéro 1, bonne bouffe et cadre sympathique. On aimerait quand même que la musique soit un peu moins forte.

I ate here two nights in a row… The staff and service at the N bar was great. Unfortunately their kitchen didn’t seem to care at all. It was mediocre crap, riding on the fact there is a hotel across the parking lot. Don’t bother, venture out and find a place that cares if what they serve you is good. These greedy fools couldn’t care less.

Quand ma copine et moi sortons d’une salle de spectacles et que nous né sommes pas d’accord sur ce que nous voulons manger en «snack «de fin de soirée, le Normandin de la rue Bouvier est toujours notre premier choix. Ouvert 24 h, j’aime y aller pour pouvoir calmer une fringale tardive. À notre dernière visite, cependant j’y ai été déçu en commandant un combo pizza-​salade César. D’abord, ma salade est arrivée je finissais ma pizza et ensuite la laitue n’était pas de première fraîcheur. En revanche, ma pizza aux côtes levées était excellente. Mais, une odeur désagréable dans les toilettes m’a un peu levé le cœur en sortant.
