Très déçu. On me disait que c’était LA place junk à goûter. J’ai trouvé fade, sans wow et beaucoup trop dispendieu.

Where can find the squeaky cheese curds on your poutine? Here at Chez Ashton the cheese curds were a plenty and even on my mini size portion this was just right for me. The ambiance is one of fast food restaurant and we traveled here at peak lunch time hour. With all my love for people watching this is the location for the blue collared worker and this place was packed.
The drive thru lines were snaking onto the street and the dine in line was just as long albeit not onto the street!
I did not get to try the burgers but this place does serve up different versions of poutine toppings along with burgers and hot dogs.
I rate this restaurant as one that fits the diet for the working class in the area. For me it is one of the places I compare to a White Castle visit –once maybe twice, to fit the craving. Bön Appetite!

Chez Ashton is like the McDonalds or maybe Arbys of QC. The poutine is the french fries drenched in gravy and cheese curds — famous in Quebec. It was amazing! I mean I have had better. But this is open like all hours of the night and its legit and its like $ 3.
I mean its like when tourists come to the US and are like i need a Big Mac from an American McDonalds — well go into Chez Ashton and eat some poutine comme les Québécois.
