Comfort Inn

This place is a dump! They are currently under construction and it is a mess.
Construction crew starts at 6:00 am. So I was awoken by the sounds of a worker cutting drywall at 6:30.
Management does not care. I left a complaint at the desk and no call back.
Choice you should be ashamed of yourself for not warning potential guests of the construction.
Never again. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere else to stay!

This place is a dump. It’s cheap, so you get what you pay for.
The rooms are falling apart. There was mold buildup in the bathroom and windows. The wallpaper and paint was peeling off with some of the wallpaper even torn off. Poor plumbing caused frequent toilet clogging. As they have no maintenance people on staff at night, the only options were a plunger or to move to another crappy room. The shower tub spout was practically falling off. The shower curtains were torn. The toilet paper roller was broken, and never fixed, so we had to keep the roll handy next to the sink. There was a rusted ironing board hanging off of a rusted hook that had one hinge almost completely unmoored. The carpet underneath the bed was very dirty, we even found pieces of food there.
As they were renovating the inn, the front entrance was completely blocked off, which meant the side entrances needed to be used. Although normally accessed with a key, that was disabled to alleviate the inconvenience of not being able to gain easy access to reception. So literally anyone could gain access to the inn and the rooms if they wanted. There was ice in the entryways, enough to cause one of us to slip and fall. Even after a few days and some complaints, the ice remained, making entries and exits a dangerous affair.
The inn is a busy place for hooker visitations, we could hear them knocking on doors and entering and exiting rooms all night long. Then there were the young party animals who would scream and yell at all hours of the night in the hallways. As they share a room to save on costs, they are loud in the rooms as well.
The only high point was the staff, who were very helpful and friendly and did the best they could with a bad situation.
This inn was recommended to us and was a complete disappointment. With other better options nearby, we will be sure never to come to this inn again when we visit Montréal.

So-​so, not as nice and nowhere near as friendly as the Comfort Inn Dorval. I’d stay there instead if possible. Front desk staff here was not very friendly when I checked in. The location is also a bit far from the airport to be considered an airport hotel, in my opinion. Supposedly they have an airport shuttle, but I had no luck getting it after an hour of waiting and trying to call them from the airport. Cab here cost almost $ 30 CAD, including tip. Pretty clean, fairly comfortable bed. Wouldn’t stay here again.
