The Maple Inn, built in 1893, is truly a Victorian gem. We had the good fortune of staying here for 2 nights while touring our way through Nova Scotia. Ulrike & Johannes, owners of the inn since 2004, made us feel very welcomed. Although the inn is is 122 years old it has all the modern amenities and is beautifully and comfortably decorated in the Victorian style. Ulrike was full of good information about the local restaurants and tourist destinations. Johannes is a genius in the kitchen. We had two delicious breakfasts with a choice of all the usual breakfast items(eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes) or a special. We had the special both days and were not disappointed. He made a lovely egg soufflé baked in a ham cup, served with homemade multigrain bread with homemade peach and raspberry jams. I look forward to returning to Maple Inn at the earliest possible opportunity.

Pleasant and interesting bed and breakfast. Good spot to visit the Fundy Geologic Museum and Five Islands Provincial Park. They even have gluten-free toast.
