I liked this place when it was Cozy’s with the previous owners, it was always busy and the food was consistent. I wish they were able to keep the little place they had a couple of doors down, it was 24 hours. I do miss a lot of the old Hintonburg

I’ve only had breakfast here. But the breakfast potatoes are awesome! Deep fried and seasoned w Cajun seasoning wow so Tasty! The servers are very inconsistent. Some are reasonable. Others can’t even fill your water when there’s only three tables full in the entire place. I’ve had a two that I really rolled my eyes at because it was embarrassing. Good prices too. Simple breakfast for under 7 $(one egg toast potatoes sausage or bacon) Not a fancy place but so far It’s still my GOTO place for breakfast. I just wish the servers were more«with it»

I had a very good breakfast here, although the interior has seen better days. Came on a Sunday, early afternoon for a very late breakfast. They were able to get us seated quickly though, even though it was the end of a lunch rush and there were no clean tables when we arrived. For breakfast I had eggs and smoked meat while my girlfriend had a full breakfast platter with bacon, sausage, eggs, and pancakes. The eggs were cooked well, nice and not rubbery or overcooked but not too runny. The smoked meat was nice while they were nice enough to bring unbuttered toast for me. The coffee was the only letdown, it was pretty bland and watery but the rest of the breakfast was excellent. The service was very good, with a sort of family vibe to it, with the teenagers busing dishes. Our particular waitress was excellent, she was very friendly and attentive. Overall if you are looking for a good cheap breakfast in the area, Wellington Eatery is a good pick. It’s proper diner breakfast at proper diner prices, as long as you aren’t worried about a dated interior.

Food was decent and well-priced. The interior is definitely dated but there’s nothing wrong with a dive-y 70s aesthetic. The service was good. My male brunch companions said that the bathrooms were totally disgusting and suggested avoiding them completely.

For Breakfast… magnificent. I have had the opportunity to drop in 4 times in the last several months for a leisurely weekend breakfast and each experience was fantastic. It reminds me of the restaurants that used to be found on Bank St that were dated and desperately needed a renovation, but made the best home cooked meals imaginable. The staff are extremely friendly and down to earth, and the clientele really come from all walks of life. If you are looking for a down to earth, old style«greasy spoon at a reasonable price», start to your day, this is the place for you. Highly recommend! Ps the potatoes with onion can’t be missed

We were walking by this place in search of a restaurant that was open on a Sunday morning that served a sit-down breakfast, and as if it sensed my empty stomach, a sign promising waffles encouraged me in(…I never did have the waffles, mind you). The place was really quite spacious inside and we were served quickly as it began to fill up shortly after we arrived. We were served by the sweetest waitress who gave us a delicious suggestion(onions on the hashbrowns– yum!). Breakfast was the perfect price($ 6 for meat,(3 sausages! That was awesome) 2 eggs and the regular rest). My friend got a heaping plate of smoked meat that looked good. This is definitely a good place to go for a plate of bacon and eggs.(It would have gotten 4 stars, but the hashbrowns are not handmade, but the onions almost made up for it).
