Wal-Mart

This is personally my favourite walmart in Ottawa. Yes it is busy but that’s because they have a lot of variety. They always seem to have what I’m looking for. The prices for hygiene and beauty products are much better then shoppers lol. So I can’t complain. I always see the same cashier just because he’s friendly and nice :) only reason why i didnt give five stars is because of how busy it is.

This review is for the photo centre:
I had pictures print with 1 hour photo. The pictures had blue streaks on them and if I had not checked them before I left they would have just sent me home with those ugly prints.
When I brought it to the persons attention his response was «nothing I can do.»
Yes, there are things you can do. Maybe call to have your machine serviced??? Offer me a refund? Maybe offer to reprint and see if you could help fix this mistake???
He did nothing, I was just an inconvenience to him. What a shame!
He walked me over to customer service for my refund. Didn’t even bring the recipe he had kept. Pretended I didn’t exist. It was a nightmare.

Ridiculous! Walked in to see cashiers frantically trying to get through line ups that were stretching into the clothing and jewelry sections! I went to buy about $ 30 in stuff, but set it down and walked out when I couldn’t get quick customer service. Unacceptable!

One of the bigger grocery store in Ottawa. I prefer Walmart to shoppers for some items. They have a wider range here and some items are generally cheaper here here they go on promotion. But please grab your items when the tag is reduced, chances are there will be no extension and when the promotion is expired, the items will revert to its usual pricing.
Cashier service is fast and patient. The customer service area is huge with 2 – 3 staff managing it. U could do a refund without question asked as long as u have its tag on and original packaging intact. We return to exchange for a pillow but ultimately seeking a refund for some reason and they paid us back the full amount without any questions. That’s the beauty of the retails in Canada, I truly enjoyed as a shopperholic.
It’s often a long wait during peak hours like 5pm at the cashier though there are more than 15s. Everyone wait patiently in line to pay for their items. The local fruit produces are very fresh here, and I love getting some health supplements and manicure products which covers widely. Things that are seldom seen in other grocery stores like Shoppers Drug Store, Metro, Food Basics can be found here. They even carry apparels in the store.
Groceries have never been so easy at Walmart! So much to see and scout in the store!

Not the newest or the cleanest. The prices were okay. Standard walmart selection with Canadian food/​snacks. They should have a tourist aisle. The parking lot was a mess because of the snow and ice. Friendly staff though. Overall, okay.
