Starbucks

This is my usual morning coffee location. Great service and friendly staff but I really wish they would do something about the aggressive beggars outside their store. Unfortunately if it happens any further I will be going elsewhere.

Staff are super quick and despite all of the hustle and bustle of a busy downtown core, they always get my order right! What can I say, I have a huge soft spot for good coffee in the morning, and the excellent service provided by the staff at this establishment. To the staff at this location: Thank you for making my early mornings brighter with your joy and happiness in the form of a cup :)

I mean its a Starbucks, right? How good/​bad could it be? For all you asking yourselves these questions, I understand your sentiment. But truthfully this Starbucks is great with a central location to boot! Situated about 1 block north of where my new apartment is/​will be I feel like I will become somewhat of a regular at this place any day now! When I rolled up at this place with my cousin and boyfriend – on a Saturday afternoon – there were spots to sit (at the window ledge) and the staff were pleasant and quick on their feet! I can imagine this place gets hopping on the weekdays but on the weekends its all zzzzzzz as is most things downtown Ottawa (fine by me!). Also, since this Starbucks is located in Le Village I expect the crowd might be a little more gay (not stupid gay but gay gay!)-friendly which is always nice if you’re looking for a safe space. Word of caution: this is a smaller location, certainly smaller than a suburban incarnation, but it serves up the drinks we all know and love with a smile. Thanks Bank St Starbucks!

I am a really big Starbucks fan. I get it 3 – 4 times a week, it’s a problem I know. This one is one of the better ones, every time I order my typical order they do it perfectly. It’s also cozy, although small.

Friendly staff, good coffee and a stop before getting to work.
