Starbucks

Just a note to say that this Spucks was closed for renovations-​bit it’s open for business now! WOOHOO!

The worst service I have ever gotten at a Starbucks in Ottawa was at this location. It was about an hour and half before closing and my husband and I went in to order coffee…
The barista was alone and there was no one else in the store. When my hubby and I approached the cash to order the barista had a disgusted look on her face and rolled her eyes as we approached as if we were literally bothering her, when all she was doing was standing around behind the cash. She did not greet us, just pointedly stared at us and said a snarky: «Yes???». Needless to say that we did NOT place an order. I just said, «Wow, nice attitude!», turned around and walked out.
We decided to go to Second Cup a little further down the street and will not bother with this particular Starbucks location ever again.

I don’t even have to order here anymore. I come in at 8:30 every couple of days and just pass over my card and my coffee shows up.
These guys make my mornings so much easier.
Thank you Starbucks guys!

This particular Starbucks is different than most, since it is inside the Lord Elgin Hotel.
One key aspect to note, is that this Starbucks does not accept Starbucks cards, since they are independent from others, being inside the hotel.
I have always had particularly good service in this Starbucks, especially during Winterlude. I used to work nearby Confederation Park, so I would stop at Starbucks on my way to work, and no matter how lined up they got during the festivities, staff were always friendly and gave very fast service.
