Starbucks in Rideau? Can’t go wrong. Why settle for mediocre coffee at Tims? Too many choices but there is something for everyone.

The service was great and the layout is also quite nice. Starbucks is usually pretty good across the board but the service at this one really made it an excellent experience for me.
I’ll be sure to stop by here again soon.

Easily one of the best Starbucks outlets in Ottawa: enthusiastic and personable staff, who have developed a great rapport with their regulars.

A smaller Starbucks location inside the Rideau Centre. The staff is friendly, as always, the coffee and food is excellent, and they’re usually very fast owing to the busy mall setting. Sometimes they’re too busy and getting coffee can take a while, but it’s nice not to have to go across the street to the other Starbucks in winter when it can get to –30 out here!

I am generally a really huge Starbucks fan. Out of all of them, I go to this one the most. Some of the staff know my order, most don’t, despite seeing me almost every day. With that being said, 99% of the time the staff are extremely friendly (with the exception of two people). My favorite barista in the entire city works here and I need to get his name because he makes every drink to perfection. He has glasses, blonde hair and an unusual haircut with the sides shaved. If he is working you will probably have a delicious latte.
The drinks are pretty hard to screw up seeing as they follow a standard recipe, so it’s hard to judge them on the quality of the coffee. But some people just take more care making your coffee than others, and for the most part (again with the exception of two rude baristas), I walk out of here with fantastic coffee.
