I’ve only tried the ceviche but I gotta say, it is some of the best I have ever had. Thick, white, juicy creamy chunks of whitefish marinated in lime with a hint of spiciness from the red chillis. Topped with shredded red onions and chillis, and served on a bed of sweet-potato mash, with a side of hulled, roasted Iroquois white corn(I think it was). The white corn kernels are a lot bigger than our standard corn, nowhere near as sweet and much more to-the-tooth than we are used too but it served as a perfect complement to the soft delicate creaminess of the fish. I love their story too, they had a restaurant in Lima for 20 years and then moved to Canada 3 years ago to be with their daughter and now have continued making great Peruvian food. They move around the city at the weekend too, so check out their facebook page or find them on the Ottawa Street Food app. Damn, I wish they had a restaurant so I could go in the winter.
