Nice place. Although I prefer farm boy bc they have better stock of organic produce and specialty items. But I like this place because of its mom and pop like feel. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. The seafood is fresh and all the prices and sales are great. Second choice but a close 1st.

I have been enjoying shopping at the Carling Produce Depot; see review here: , and decided to check out this location since I was in the area. The store itself is much larger than the Carling location, and had more products. Of course each store itself is unique, and the layout is different, but this location seemed a bit«cold.» I went around the store and took note on some of the unique items that they had here like raw chick peas still in the pod – so neat! I also noticed again, local products, like their fresh pita breads and tortilla chips! So good! The other selection of breads were not the freshest. I did see expired tortilla wraps on the shelf that should have been removed, a customer could purchase it without even looking at the date and realize after they got home that it is expired. It sucks, I have done that before! On a positive note, fruits and veggies are always a great deal here. BUT, Skip the packaged boxed foods, they are over priced(unless they randomly go on sale, which sometimes they may). A the end of the day, I prefer the Carling location(cashiers are nicer, and I know my way around the store), but if you live around this depot, and you have not been yet, check it out!

Nice market! I grab my fruit and veggies from here regularly. The highlights: — Clean, well-kept space with plenty of room for a great selection, including frequent availability of more«exotic» fare like Sitafal and Pitaya. Nice! — Aisle widths sufficiently large to navigate around without knocking over displays or bumping into people. — Short lines staffed by knowledgeable cashiers who know exactly which variety of item you picked and what it costs. As was said in the review of the Carling location(Hi Andrea!) you probably want to stick to the produce. While it doubles as a general supermarket, the prices on other staple items tends to be higher than average.
