Worth coming to the airport early. Great lounge with lots of seating, plugs, and refreshments. Loved the Starbucks cappuccinos and shortbread cookies. I have dreams about these cookies! The place is constantly cleaned and stocked up with drinks etc

Nice place to relax before your flight! Much much smaller than the Toronto Porter lounge, but offering just as many amenities –lots of lounge chairs/and tables to relax in while enjoying a complimentary snack(e.g. toasted almonds, cookies) and beverage(e.g. tea, coffee, water). This is also a quiet place to get a headstart on work and school as the lounge is equipped with plugs and free WiFi access.

Had my first experience flying porter and because of the porter lounge I am now a loyal client. Will fly porter hands down wherever possible. Delicious cappuccinos!

I have been using the Porter Lounge every time I fly with Porter. I have to say I really like using the lounge to cool my heels before my flight and use the separate wifi at the lounge. The staff on duty is always friendly.

This is the first that I have beed in an airport lounge and I know why some who travels a lot pay for it. But Porter provides it free! I will fly porter when possible for business trips from now on!

On my experience in YOW, I wasn’t even a Porter passenger, but I showed my VIPorter baggage tag to the attendant in the lounge and I was welcomed(really, not just a shrug) without a problem. I even told him my flight that day was not with Porter. Great place to just get away from the crowds and stretch out on comfy seating.

Never again shall I wait at my gate like a sucker when I’m flying Porter out of Ottawa! While it’s not huge, the atmosphere in the lounge is much better than the hustle and bustle of the gates, and has a modicum of personal space. On top of that there’s free snacks. Everyone wants to feel special in a quasi-exclusive lounge and get free food right? Come here, relax, and then have a Steam Whistle on your flight. This is the wonderful world of Porter.

I cannot express how awesome Porter is. I travel a lot between Toronto and Ottawa and when I have the chance to fly Porter it is a treat. If you ever hear anyone say otherwise spray them with a bucket of angry bees. Porter is awesome.

A free lounge is a perk no matter the quality of it, and Ottawa’s Porter Lounge does not disappoint. When you compare it to the«flagship» Toronto lounge, it’s a little small — which means fewer seats, but since there are fewer Porter flights, it really makes no difference. There are a variety of styles of seating — you can sit in a lounge chair next to a small table, in café style seating or in sets of four cushy chairs. They have a small«business centre» full of Macs, and in my experience there is always at least one free. The snacks are minimal, but FREE(so who cares!) including almonds, cookies, and a variety of pop, juice, water and coffee. While there is no free alcohol(or non-free) in the lounge, there is free alcohol on your flight, so do not despair.

The Porter Lounge in Ottawa was their first expansion of their awesome amenities outside of Toronto. Their stylish, contemporary and comfortable concept to short-haul flying is exemplary. It is conveniently located just steps from the airport security screening, between departure Gates 18 and 20, at the Ottawa International Airport. The lounge is open to ALL passengers holding a ticket — there is no annual fee or other sneaky membership requirements. There are lots of computer workstations equipped with Apple iMacs for general use, and ample lounging spots to relax. Wireless internet access throughout the lounge is free. Thirsty? Hungry? The Porter Lounge has that covered too! Help yourself to the free amenities including: espresso, coffee, tea, soft drinks and premium snacks. Just remember to save your appetite for your flight, because the snacks, wine AND beer are free up in the sky.
