Have been in here twice and both times was very happy with customer service.
They only sell 40 oz bottles, rum, gin, vodka.
I’m also happy with the product. :-)
Love seeing local businesses succeed — and I think this one is well on its way to doing so.
Would I recommend: Yes

I bought a groupon for my husband’s birthday for a tour of the distillery. It’s 3 seconds away from my house, and my husband loved hard liquor.
We learnt so much about the process of distilling. The tour guide was very casual and honest about how the business was new and they didn’t necessarily know what they were doing. It’s all trial and error. The honesty was a nice touch. I would recommend having some chasers when trying the booze because I don’t do shots. Especially when you are doing them one after the other. It’s not like beer or wine.
The space is small, but very efficient.
Pretty cool how it’s the first one in Ottawa! I am sure it will do well :)
After the tour we bought the rum ($ 45) and a mickey of whiskey ($ 15).

Just got the rum that got released this week. Delish! Very smooth, sweet, tastes like top shelf rum. Also got the vodka, and though it is very good, I find it not as impressive as the gin and rum.
Just another note, everything but the rum has a very amateur feel about the labels. The Rum labels were not done in house, and look much more professional.
