DISAPPOINTED! In the past I have eaten here many times but it had been over a year before I picked up some take-out last night. They have obviously changed cooks, the food was not fresh– I ordered butter chicken. I have eaten this dish dozens of times in many different places and have never had the colour be pumpkin orange! I tasted it and realized the chunks of chicken were in fact left over Tandori chicken cut up and used to make butter chicken !! This was a Saturday night when they should have their freshest food out! Not only was the butter chicken bright orange with Tandori chicken chunks but it was nauseatingly sweet, no spice, it just tasted like they had put tons of sugar in the sauce– maybe because it wasn’t fresh but definitely the worst I’ve ever had. Next we ordered motor paneer, green pease with paneer cheese in curry sauce. Again all you could the taste was sugar, no spices just tons of sugar in the sauce. We had veg samosas also which were okay but bland. Overall a huge disappointment, which cost $ 40 !

Not so great. Server was inexperienced, prices high and food is nothing special. I often walk by during dinner hour and there are seldom many people there.

I love this Indian restaurant. When I lived near by I ordered take-out from there all the time. The mustard shrimp is so good. It’s a bit pricey now, but I still like it when I am craving some spicy comfort food.

My favorite Indian restaurant in the entire city! I always order delivery, it can be kind of slow but the food makes up for it. My favorite dish is chicken dhansaak, it is spicy and the gravy is thick and unique tasting, its almost sour but in a pleasant way. The naan and samosas are also great and I tried onion bhajis last time I was there, they were excellent too. Only complaint is that they gave me the wrong rice twice, I ordered pulao and they just ended up giving me regular rice. Edit: No longer my favorite in the city, but it’s still darn good. The dhansaak is outstanding, it’s flavorful and rich and their samosas are fantastic as well. They’re hands down the best Indian food you can have delivered to you in the Centretown area.
