House of Pizza

Real quality homemade food at thi mom n pop place with Lebanese touch for extra yummy flavours. Love this place. Theyreunable to expand into a restaurqnt because of th building set up but passing by for take out is still worth it. Best roasr beef, club, cheeseburger sandwhiches and not to mention pizza… ever! And the folks are sweet people. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

DO NOT GO HERE FOR SHAWARMA! Though they advertise shawarma as something they can make, it is most definitely not.
To begin, the insane wait time, the longest in Ottawa. Try watching one guy make two sandwiches for 20 minutes. It gets pretty damn boring. It’s enough time to notice how disorderly and dirty everything in there is.
I got, maybe, *maybe* one third of a small chicken breast in a small salad (I was charged $ 4 for the chicken add-​on by the way). The meat was gristly, incredibly tough, and flavourless. The pita was many-​days-​old chewy. The garlic sauce was really a garlic flavoured dressing, mostly liquid. Oh, and that’s only after we asked them to put garlic sauce on the sandwich. Let me say that again: THEY DIDN’T PUT ANY GARLIC SAUCE IN THE SHAWARMA BY DEFAULT. Sacrilege.
As I saw the server make the food, I was pretty horrified to see him pull out a wilted head of lettuce. Oh, and don’t ask for turnips — they don’t have any. Come on guys. Moments later the store owner told his delivery man to take his time. Quality? Decent delivery times? Nah, not at House of Pizza.
Okay, so it’s not called «House of Shawarma», I get that. But please, take shawarmas and donairs off your menu. Stick to food you can actually make. My friend and I agree — worst shawarma in all of Ottawa.

I just ordered shawarma and it’s was the worst shawarma sandwich I’ve ever tasted, 3 meat and full vegetables like I asked that, BUNKKKK

A few years ago, I ordered the pizza for my son’s birthday party. 6 pizzas and came out to over $ 100.
Delivery came on time and was fresh and hot. Although that was my first and only trip, I still remember it. All the kids and those parents who normally don’t eat pizza also liked it.

This is our «go to» pizza! It’s the only pizza we eat now. Not greasy at all and fresh ingredients. Yum.

Great pizza and incredible ownership and staff. Fresh ingredients and competitive specials. Always serve up a quality pie with a smile :)

Seems to be a few big fans on here. I stopped by today to check it out while I was driving by. I just came in for a slice and when i went in at about 3 pm there was just one regular slice and a meat lovers pizza below available to be sliced. The man at the cash was busy with one of those ear device working on some sort of technical problem on his computer it seemed. While my slice was in the oven i looked around. Many things piled up in the main area like crates of pop and pizza boxes. Didn’t really notice a sitting area there. The man was busy with his computer problems so i didn’t really blame him for not engaging me in any friendly conversation. I took my slice and ate it in the car. Being sort of old it wasn’t in the best condition. The cheese has sort of solidified into a glaze that the oven had not really melted. As far as I could tell nothing fancy like multiple cheese types was involved here. The sauce was there but didn’t really spring out at me with a real homemade zing. The best part was probably the crust. It was thin and pretty crunchy which i liked. It’s a passable pizza.
My suggestion is to go earlier in the day when the slices are more fresh or to buy an entire pizza.

I ate here 4 times a week in high school… I treat myself every now and then because I don’t leave in the neighbourhood anymore
it’s still the best! it’s all about the sauce.

Best pizza if you live in Westboro consistently good, love their crust and sauce. I used to get Ricardo’s when I lived downtown but they don’t deliver west of Churchill so too bad for them;)

This used to be my local pizzeria until I moved out of the area. Since I was in the area again, I decided to come back!
I ordered the Meat Lover’s pizza and everything tasted fresh! They put the cheese on top of the toppings!
Make sure you get the Garlic Cheese Bread, it’s super yummy too!
I got kinda thirsty after my meal. Maybe there was msg in the cured meats?
