Ok, I have been here 2 or 3 times by now, so I think I can fairly say that this shop is full of awesomeness that is not only relegated to the opening specials! :-) They can be pricy, but being in an outlet mall, they do offer specials. Keep your eyes peeled for these discounts! This shop is on a corner, so they have great exposure with lots of big bright windows, and their reputation precedes them — which makes their chocolate very hard to resist! Products from this shop are perfect for those special occasions where drug store chocolates just won’t cut the mustard! From the window, you can see that them at work — yes, they do make some of their chocolates right on the premises! From chocolate dipped waffle cones stuffed with chocolate covered strawberries or some other form of yumminess, you can watch them at work on whatever special of the day they are producing. Upon entering the shop, the first thing that strikes you is the wonderful aroma… A good two thirds of the shop floor contains a large array of boxed and prepackaged chocolates for sale, while along the right there is the counter where they create their masterpieces. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the lady I spoke to on this visit was wearing a chef’s jacket with a few splashes of chocolate on it; obviously she has been hard at work this Easter Monday(the day of my visit)! I wanted something small but yet significant, and ended up with 3 or 4 small items that were big enough to impress; these included some prepackaged items as well as a couple of the truffles on display in the counter area. I asked the chocolatier how she manages to stay so thin, and she replied that she tries not to eat too many of them. I suspect that might be a tad difficult for most of us who love chocolate — to be working with them all day, yet still managing to avoid them at the same time! My best trick so far to eating chocolates is to do so while standing up — thereby avoiding the calories! LOL! I will definitely be back.
