The second my transaction went through, the cashier told me they were closing in half an hour. This café may be cozy, but the service is lacking.

PRO: cute interior, good atmosphere, suave music playlist, big selection of tea leaves. The guy who made my cappuccino knew how to make a cappuccino — we ordered a chai latte and a soy cappuccino, and, weighed side by side, cappuccino was lighter(because it had more foam). This is how it should be and I appreciated it. CON: relatively expensive, service/friendliness is meh, the espresso in my cappuccino didn’t taste good and no amount of honey could help it(coffee beans likely lower quality than other nearby cafes and/or not fresh). Cannot comment on the quality of prepared food as we didn’t try any.

A solid 4⁄5 stars with the capacity for 5. The Fleur Tea House is a welcome addition to my weekend brunch options. This quaint little restaurant has a steady stream of customers but is not overly busy. It has a quiet, welcoming atmosphere that would be great for toiling an afternoon away. Upon entering the little café, we were not altogether sure whether it was seat-yourself or wait to be seated, they could definitely use a sign. The answer is to seat yourself anywhere. Most tables have a copy of the menus waiting for you and someone will be with you shortly to take your order. All menu options are reasonably priced and our food came very quickly. I had the green smoothie(which was great!) and the mushroom omelette with cheese. I wish I had skipped the cheese as it was a bit too processed for me, but the meal was solid. The toast was good but didn’t come with any jam :(as a result I didn’t eat my toast. Also, if you’re looking for water there is a jug on a small table in front of the bar — serve yourself! When you’re done eating, simply make your way to the cashier to square up. Overall, a lovely experience on the quiet side of Sandy Hill. I will definitely be back for brunch again! PS — They no longer accept the 10% off for your first check in discount. Apparently this was a 2014 offer only.

I was brought here for«breakfast» by my boyfriend after waking up together at 4PM in the afternoon. I’m not a breakfast person, but this place has the BEST Eggs Benedict I have ever had in my life. I made my boyfriend bring me back every single day for the rest of the week just so I could have them over and over. Once I even ordered 2 plates because it was just so good, but afterwards I was stuffed to the brim so I don’t think I will be doing that again. The hollandaise sauce on top of the bennies makes me wish for a bathtub full of this stuff so that I can dunk my entire face into it. Wash it all down with a cup of fragrant hot tea, and you will be off to the start of a very happy morning. Or afternoon.

Totally unassuming from the outside, a smile broke across my face as I walked into this adorable little coffee shop after seeing $ 0.99 any size coffee before 11:00am sign outside the store. Seriously, for $ 1.13 after tax, you can’t go wrong. I loved the décor on the inside. So much so, that I was already snapping pictures before even placing my order(I’ll post these later). There was only one person working there, and because I didn’t see the bell by the cash, I waited for a few minutes before my presence was noted. I asked if I could have the advertised coffee iced; and the friendly person immediately agreed. I didn’t realize it would be a pain for him(he had to chill it over ice) and even went out of his way to make sure it was cold enough by having me test out the temperature first and then adding more ice cubes. My 5 stars are based on the atmosphere, service and coffee. I haven’t tried any of the food there however. I noticed that they had bags of Happy Goat coffee displayed on the wall, so I am not sure if that’s the coffee they also served me. It was really tasty! He added cream and a bit of sugar(I had to later add more sugar to adjust for my taste). Overall it was a really pleasant and surprising experience. If I am ever in that area again(before 11 am), I will definitely grab another coffee; and maybe this time spend some time enjoying the awesome ambiance inside.

I had such high hopes for this place but it has consistently let me down. This morning I had what was sold as «an oil-free two egg omelette with fresh veggies and cheddar cheese» which was in fact a microwaved eggs with a melted processed cheese slice with sliced white bread, wilted lettuce and pink-colored tomatoes. Perhaps they should forget the food and stick to tea and coffee.

I’ve been in here a couple times, as I live right around the corner. This place has a perfect atmosphere for sitting and reading or playing chess with someone. The playlist is smooth. It is unfortunate not more people know about this place; if it was busier maybe the prices would go down. I would be inclined to go to this place more often if the prices were a bit cheaper. I am a student, and cannot afford the food there. The tea is good, but there needs to be a bigger selection. I know this place isnt trying to compete with Mac’s and Quickie, but let’s be honest, it is. My only really complaint is that each time I have gone there the guy behind the counter seems indignant to my presence. He was was either on the phone texting, or talking to someone. Didn’t really smile, or make me feel welcome. I had a panini there once, It was simple but nicely prepared and tasty. A bit pricey for what it actually was. Also, the wifi password is not easily posted, you have to ask. At least post it easily, and change it everyday or something.
