Friendly staff, beautiful produce, excellent meat selection. But the reason I usually go here is the salad bar. Such a diverse selection of delicious cold and hot meals for a very reasonable price. My go-to when I forget to bring a lunch to work.

This is one of my favourite places to grocery shop in the city — when I have the cash flow. The produce is outstanding, the meat selection fantastic and a they have a great bakery. My favourite thing about this place (and really any Farm Boy!) is their meals to-go. Instead of grabbing fast food at the MCDonald’s across the street, pop in here and check out their great selection of pasta salads, burritos, fresh salads, quesadillas, and my absolute favourite — stuffed tomatoes!
I also like that they support local businesses like Auntie Loo’s by selling their products. I’ve always found this to be a much healthier (though expensive) option. I love a lot of their in-store made food (their granola is excellent and of course, their fresh salsa and tortilla chips are the best!).

This is definitely not your regular super-market experience. They only offer the basics; fruits & veggies, seafood & meat, bakery items, and not much else. Everything here is fresh, they have almost no selection of canned, packaged, preserved anything. You can’t even buy anything with a major brand here — not even Coca-Cola!
There’s nothing bad about this place, but it just doesn’t offer anything to me. The quality is the same as other grocery stores; selection and convenience are much worse. I’ll shop at Loblaws next time.
