The garlic dipping sauce is great, the poutine not so much. A favourite is the Club Sub and I think the deep-fried zucchini sticks are homemade. They usually deliver 20 – 25 mins after placing an order and the staff are polite but busy.

I moved to Ottawa from Halifax a few years ago and pizza in Ottawa is tough to come by. Sure there’s a ton of pizza shops, but none that really reminded me of an east coast pizza. Bronson pizza was actually discovered by accident. I was walking home on a cold chilly night when this delicious smell was coming from this small pizza shop. It’s small, but what the hell. It was cold and I was hungry and in need of something fast. And fast it was. And delicious. And«East Coast-ish» Lots of cheese, lots of toppings and just really tasty. In fact, the reason why I love this shop is partly cause of their staff. I asked for garlic fingers which are extremely rare in Ottawa. They don’t offer it on the menu, but he told me that whenever I miss home, he’ll make me some. Great pizza, great service. Far from Halifax, but close enough :)

It was 2:50am and we had just flown into Ottawa from out west and we were starving! Why no free meals on planes anymore? I had the good fortune to sit next to 2 men who were on their way to Ottawa for a wedding. They have a lot of family here and they recommended Bronson’s for pizza while were in town. We could not wait and we spotted on line they deliver until 4am… Our jammies on and all, pizza-man came and brought us the 2 for 1 special pizzas! With tip, $ 25, not bad. The guy said normally they do not deliver downtown but it was a slower night for them. Thankfully! He came all the way up to our 16th floor room to deliver instead of us having to go to the lobby. Delivery guy was very friendly as was the guy on the phone! I have missed my hometown Ottawa pizza. I sighed as soon as I opened the pizza box! MMMMMMMMMMMMMM hit my face! They know how to build it properly — veggies UNDER the cheese. The cheese really was perfect as was the medium high crust, the fresh veg toppings and I thought the sauce was very good! I even had an extra marinara sauce on the side to get my dip-on. The best thing — the pizza came PIPING hot and that does not happen often enough! Good job Bronson’s! 5 stars!

Oh Bronson Pizza, where do I even begin? Bronson Pizza was the only pizza I ate in Ottawa for almost 2 years, for a variety of reasons. For starters, they are open crazy late! I have ordered food from them at ridiculous hours of the evening(morning?) and still had it arrive piping hot and in a reasonable time. My personal favourite is the Bronson Special as it has green olives(my fave!) and large pieces of grilled tomatoes. I also love the Hawaiian Pizza, which may be the best one I have ever had. My only problem is their pepperoni. For some reason I just don’t like it. I have ordered many other items off of their menu as well. Their sandwiches are pretty yummy, though one time when I ordered the steak sandwich my bun was a little burnt. I have also had their greek salad(pretty standard, pretty yummy), their chicken wings(extra spicy, just the way that I like them!) and their onion rings. Greasy, Deep fried and extra cheesy, I have never had a bad experience at Bronson Pizza and often find myself missing it when I venture into different cities. The crusts just aren’t as thick and the toppings just not as plentiful. As far as the ‘za goes, I am Team Bronson Pizza all the way.

Do not like. Theres something about the sauce that turns me off this place. On the other hand, their nachos for some reason are fantastic.

Bronson Pizza is number seven on my wife and I’s list of pizza joints we have visited to check out their deals — and that just means it is the seventh place we have visited, not that we have ranked it seventh. Hey, we are new to the city and it is vital that you establish a relationship with a handy, local, awesome pizza place. Bronson Pizza is one of those places that offers pizza and then other non-pizza related options. I like the option of having other choices, but I am always worried about a place that doesn’t focus on one food. Do I really want to order Mexican food from a pizza place? Anyhow, we gave Bronson Pizza a try — but just the pizza. Pretty decent — thick and chewy crust(which I love), tons of cheese(which was okay) and some mystery meat that was supposed to be ham — not that it was bad, just not that recognizable. The price is pricey — a medium for $ 20. But, it is always 2 for 1 so it works out. The wings are not a deal — 60 cents each, plus tax? Really?
