Williams seems to be the«go-to» spot for people looking for free wi-fi or to meet up with friends for a quick catch-up; but not actually eat a quality meal. On the plus side: The service is usually very quick and friendly. Their thai soup is pretty good. I’ve also tried their muffins and tarts and they are OK-ish. That said, I have a few issues. The place just never feels clean to me. In the summer there are flies everywhere which is a serious health risk and tells me there’s a problem with their sanitation practices. Also, the prices just don’t match up with their product. A side of sweet potato fries for $ 4.99? If they were really good that would be fine. However, the serving size was about a cup. They were limp and tasteless.

Williams Coffee brings back fond memories of university life, namely, pretending to study for exams whilst glugging panicked swigs of java at Williams and then whipping out a calculator to figure out what I need on the exam to just PASS — because personal standards plummet once fatigue sets in – and then settling into a dessert and pondering my next bong hit. Years have passed, and Williams is still the same lukewarm establishment, hawking premade desserts and pastries with passable coffee. This particular«pub» is nestled obtrusively in the parking lot of a suburban plaza. There is ample seating at booths and a few tables. I don’t imagine a lot of people come here to work as there aren’t a lot of plugs nor is there wireless Internet.(But I did spot a few laptops.) If you’re in O-town on a weekday afternoon, it’s an A-Oak-AY experience. Obligatory Title Rhyme: This BILL doesn’t thrill. Menu Readability: Your standard corporate-y above counter menu. Need to mention: This place’s got a drive thru, yo. What this place teaches me about myself: I’m prone to easy fits of nostalgia. I should get that checked out.
