Food was bland/​salty and overpriced.
Nothing gourmet about this place except for the ambiance and location.
Slow and inattentive service. (Waited 30min in almost empty room for lunch)

The precocious little brother to Jonathan’s, J-​Bistro is the fun one of the two restaurants. Same sort of prices though.
A little hipper, with live music filling the air and apparently where parents believe is a good place for children. Maybe, but not at 9 at night. I saw three kids falling face first in their desserts.
Wife had the Raviolini and I had the special Hanger steak. Starter of steak tartare was shared.
Now that the weather is nice, I highly recommend the place as the north facing side of the restaurant completely opens up to the patio. Quite pretty, as most of the people are who live this part of Oakville.
