Okay so here’s the deal… If you own a boutique cupcake store, wouldn’t you think that it should be a fun place with friendly staff who are pleasant? I mean they work with cupcakes all day for heaven’s sake. When do people typically order cupcakes??? BIRTHDAYS! So wouldn’t you think it would be smart to acknowledge your customers and wish them the odd«Happy Birthday» or «Nice to See You Again» or if they were REALLY good, maybe a «THANKYOUFORYOURBUSINESS»??? Well if that is what you are looking for, you will NOT find it here. Their cupcakes are good but their customer service is lousy. We’ve been here on multiple occasions because their cupcakes really are good, but today we should have walked out. We left frustrated and feeling like the last thing that we should do is be turning over money to this place seeing that they appear to put no value or appreciation on their customers. I’d suggest that the owners invest in a copy of Gary Vaynerchuk’s book Thank You Economy and study it! We’re in the market for a new cupcake shop!

I ordered 3 dozen mini cupcakes in an assortment of flavours for a baby shower. They were a huge hit! The frosting to cupcake ratio was perfect. The frosting swirl was lovely. The packaging was so pretty! I only tasted the chocolate chip flavor but so far I’m a fan. Oh, and the inside of the bakery is adorable and the staff are very pleasant.

Best cup cakes in oakville. The also make a mean banana cream pie and key lime pie. Sometime you can ask for stuff that is out of stock and they will make it fresh.

I came back here recently and found out that they freeze their cupcakes and resell them(woman working there told a customer and I overheard). For a shop that calls itself a «gourmet» bakery, this practice doesn’t seem to reflect that. In my previous review, I already said the cupcakes are mediocre and now I know why. If I’m going to pay $ 3.25+ for a cupcake, I expect it to be fresh, made and sold the same day. I’m not paying $$ to buy leftovers.

These cupcakes are so yummy. Sometimes you’ll try a cupcake from a different place and the frosting might be good, but the cake is not that great. That is not the case here. The cake part of the cupcake might actually be the best part(and that’s not because the frosting is not good — it’s delicious). The cake is moist and flavourful and each cupcake has a very unique and identifiable flavour profile. I preferred the vanilla based cupcakes over the chocolate based cupcakes, but that’s just my personal preference. The store is absolutely cute and it smells unbearably good. They should try to capture that scent in a candle and sell it to the masses.

Bought a box of mini cupcakes a sample of each flavor on Saturday afternoon and was very surprised with rave reviews … as i found the cupcakes to be very Common in terms of quality and stale. Same quality as one can get in a grocery store which is very disappointing. Overall overly sweet and heavy … Ended up eating the cake and throwing the icing out. What a waste … Boooo :(However on the upside the décor is really pretty as is the box they come in lol … Hey gotta look on the upside right ?! Sorry one star from me. Can’t mess with cupcakes. Period. Sigh what a shame

Nut free and preservative free cupcakes that are super most and delicious. I normally don’t like any type of baked carrot treat, but their 24 carrot cupcake is amazing. Minis, regular size cupcakes, pies, and cookies are available.

This is my go-to place for Nut-Free cupcakes. With so many children having allergies, Cupids is a great choice. The selection is good, and I like how the flavours change(keeps it interesting). I love the new décor. The atmosphere itself makes purchasing a simple cupcake a very special event. And the cupcakes themselves are delicious! The prices are a bit high, so we save our visits for special occasions.

I go here whenever I have a cupcake craving. It’s a bit steep for two regular size cupcakes(about $ 3.25 each). I usually order the red velvet and keep an eye out for any new specialty flavours. The best seasonal cupcake was the gingerbread that came out around Christmas. Other than that, the neon blue and green icing on the other cupcakes are worth it for the show. The place has renovated but it’s still small enough that you just grab your order and go. Lovely packaging.

HO0O0O0O0O0BRAH, DO I EVERLOVETHISPLACE. Theses cupcakes stay freakin onolicious! Alright so i have only tried a few of their cup cake flavors, such as the Prince, a chocolate kine, and a vanilla one and butterscotch. All were so moist and decadent. Consuming all these different cupcake flavors reminds me of eating fluffy clouds of various colors. That is to say, these cupcakes would be perfect for a cloudy day, because you could just eat all the gloom away by devouring a sunny butterscotch banana cupcake. What i mean to say is: THESECUPCAKESAREPURECULINARYESCAPISM! And sometimes you just need to chill on a cloud, cuz! Shoots, these cupcakes really cheer you up lidat! The service is nice. I enjoy the fact that one of the employees remembers who i am and sometimes remembers what i got last. That’s nice! Anyways, TRYEATASAP!

A feast for the eyes, I can’t recommend this place enough. The cupcakes taste as good as they look, absolutely beautiful. Great selection too! Mmm.

So divinely, finger-licking, slip smacking delicious it’ll leave you in a sugar coma! I barely have a sweet tooth but I could eat these things all day. With everyone making cupcakes nowadays I’m used to the over-priced, Betty Crocker tasting things most places sell. My usual reaction is a resounding and unimpressed«meh»… not worth the calories. Not this place… you can just taste the quality of the ingredients and the freshness. With 6 types to choose from daily and a rotating menu they cater to every taste. I particularly like the little cupcakes so I can try more flavours at a time. I will be back, many times over.

Still in love. We just got six dozen minis for various of the birthday celebrations this week, and I forked over $ 70 with hardly a pang. /Plus/, upon request, they made each of the six boxes a mix of flavors, rather than just giving me one box of each flavor(since they were for different events). So helpful. So tasty.

Me and my friend decided to go on a cupcake adventure by starting off our first visit at Cupid’s Gourmet Cupcakes. Let’s just say that the trip from Mississauga to Oakville was worth the trip! The cupcake shop is very small and can get quite crowded very quickly. I decided to buy a half dozen box of full-sized cupcakes, which cost $ 12.90(no tax). My friend bought the half dozen box of mini-sized cupcakes, which cost $ 6.60(no tax). The 3 flavours that we both decided to get were The Prince, The Princess, and Red Velvet. I’ve only ate 2 so far so I can’t review the red velvet cupcake just yet. The cakes are moist and the frosting is quite sweet. I’m not a huge fan of sweets so I thought the frosting was a bit too sweet for my liking. Between the prince and princess, I preferred the prince more… probably because chocolate is my preferred flavour over vanilla. Now that I think about it, I think I should’ve bought the mini-sized cupcakes… cupcake overload!

I think a Cupid hit one of the local Oakville Elites with a cup-shape arrow. Really cute. Really sweet. Really moist. No not him, I’m talkin’ cupcake. I wish I could be there to witness the $ 80+ purchase worth of cupcake.

I love those Mini Cupcakes($ 1.10) from Cupid’s Gourmet Cupcakes. They are so pretty, colourful and just look great for the photos. I found my Prince(Signature chocolate buttermilk cake, dreamy blue vanilla frosting, chocolate shavings) here! I Heart Canada(Maple and cinnamon cake, pure maple syrup frosting, cinnamon sugar sprinkles) is great for Canada Day! The cakes were both moist with great texture and the frosting has perfect sweetness. And thinking about it, I should have got 6 of them for $ 1 each with no tax so I can try more flavours!

Really pretty cupcakes. Really delicious cupcakes. Really small storefront — I’ve never gone without seeing a lineup. Usually 5 – 6 varieties to choose from and they seem to change daily. Wee pumpkin pie tarts available in the fall. Red velvet w/cream cheese frosting seems to be a staple. Watch how much you buy, though. 3 dozen + 6 mini cupcakes will hit you for $ 80+.

Wow. I used to think that the Black Forrest Bakery made the best cupcakes in Oakville. I wouldn’t feed those to my enemies now that Cupid’s is in town. These cupcakes are irresistible! They have many flavors to try out and you can get one of two sizes; your regular cupcake size, or a mini version. My favorite flavor is the«Bananas for Butterscotch». Delicious! What’s cool is that they have a daily menu, so you should check twice before heading over to make sure your favorite is being baked on that particular day. My only complaint is that the supply for these cupcakes has a hard time keeping up with the demand. I have gone a couple times late in the afternoon only to discover that they are out of stock and have closed early. Mucho disappointing. Otherwise, a perfect snack!
