Worst service ever! Came in on Sunday afternoon at 2:40 and no one was in line before me. The staff behind the counter(2 Asian ladies and 1 African American lady) were talking and having fun by themselves(to clarify that they were not making coffee while joking around either) and kept me standing in line for minutes! They saw me waited in line and no intention of getting to the desk to get my order. Finally they had done their laugh and one Asian lady came to her sense of «doing her job». Neither did anyone address or say sorry for waiting. Worst! Worst! Customer service! Will not be back here ever again. Hopefully the store Mananger could see this and address the problem to the employees(3 ladies) that worked during this period today! Anyhow, hope no one needs to be treated like this ever again!

I only came here as I had a GC to use. I normally do not buy Starbucks as #1 their coffee is just too damn strong for me & I would want to add a ton of sugar/cream & #2 way too pricy. The location is located at a busy intersection &TTC. Those who work at the Xerox building will have easy access. I went during lunch time and surprisingly didn’t have to wait long at all(15 seconds?!). They didn’t even butcher my name on the cup… likely as I spelled it out for them. Next time I will pick my favourite Russian name that’s super long. I don’t like how they use the terms tall, grande, etc. I really don’t feel like figuring the cup size. So when I ordered I said a small chocolate mocha please. Nothing too special with the taste but I didn’t need to add any additional sugar, etc. Which was great. Lots of seats but many were occupied & they have WIFI. Will be back again to finish off the GC.

I stopped by for a coffee this morning and was surprised to hear korean hip hop and kpop playing at the store. Is it because some staff are Korean or were they catering their Korean customers? Who da heck knows but I just thought it was funny but strange. Anyway this store isn’t that big so it can be quite crowded. This location is in the xerox building right at Yonge and finch.

Since I downloaded the Starbucks app I have been getting rewards left and right! I recently received a coupon for 25% off any Frappuccino. I ordered the smores frappuccino(yes it exists!) and it was as tasty as I expected it to be(I don’t wanna know how many calories it has!). A lovely lady just handed me a free sample of a lemonade frappuccino. Starbucks! stop trying to make me like you! its not working… OK maybe it is…

The coffee here is consistent with what you’d expect from Starbucks. The location is very convenient, right at the corner of Yonge and Finch, you can get there from Finch station without having to go outside. It can get very busy but the staff is great and line ups usually move pretty fast. The worst part about this location is that the limited seating and high ratio of customers who enjoy lounging around make it impossible to get a seat. Seriously, I’ve never seen another Starbucks in the city this bad. There is free WiFi but don’t expect to take advantage of this unless you’re willing to wait for a table.

I come here whenever I’m craving a chai tea latte because they make it exceptionally well and is always consistent. The only thing with this location is that because it’s situated in an office building, it tends to get VERY busy! The last time I came here, I waited about 20 minutes which is longer than usual compared to other Starbucks locations that are busy. The staff however are very friendly and I didn’t have any issues with them spelling my name correctly on the cup. Expect to pay between $ 4.50 to $ 6.50 for a cup of latte but you get what you pay for, the quality compared to a Tim Hortons latte is superior. The cool thing about Starbucks is that they have an app where you can download to your smartphone and every time you purchase a beverage, you receive a star and when you received the Gold Star level, you are entitled to drink benefits such as a free drink. You can also load money onto your Starbucks app card which is convenient when making purchases. This location is a bit tricky and is easily accessible by public transit, however, if you are driving, you’ll have to park across the street at the green P lots.

This location is quick, convienent, and has a nice patio. Free wifi in all the starbucka of course. I usually always get a Tall Pike or Tall Skinny Chai Tea Latte. My experiences here have always been stellar and I never have had to wait long for my drink. I keep my drinks simple and easy to order. The people that come here to order fancy drinks and modify them beyond belief should not complain about a long wait… that would be like ordering a big mac and wanting it to taste like a chicken burger but with less than 100 calories… sorry to tell you that you cannot always have your cake and eat it too.

Updating the furniture has done little to improve the speed of service at this location. Likely due to its location in an office building it seems that they are always over or under staffed depending on how many people are on break. The staff are friendly and well trained though so this does help with the above mentioned irritants. The worst thing about waiting for coffee is… Well… You’re waiting for caffeine… Meaning you’re a tired, cranky addict like me who is dying for a fix.

This location has recently re-opened with a new reno. The old seating invited campers. Granted this part of North York has a huge student population. Unfortunately, this Starbucks became an all day/all night study hall. One table. One laptop. One coffee. One student for 3 hours. Or worse, 6 students crowded around a table for two and maybe, maybe one has a coffee. Once in a blue moon I’d play dumb, spy a table with a couple students sitting there with no beverage on the table and ask quite innocently«oh, are you guys just leaving?» The seating has become less inviting(ie more uncomfortable) for the campers. Low tables and comfy seats have been replaced by a long bar, higher tables, and high chairs. Your ass and back are going to start hurting if you’re there for longer than 45 minutes. Eat it, campers. So, golly, I seem to be able to get a place to sit now.

new reno — good stuff! love the atmosphere and the romantic lighting in this place — a bit hard to read or study but great if you’re on a date and just wanted to talk. it’s a popular spot, you have to fight for seats sometimes. I do NOT like the smokers that are always huddling outside the shop. you get almost attacked by smoke when open the door. i also do NOT like that the wi-fi here almost never works.

Coffee was ok but the amount of flies on their food is really off putting.

Not a fan of this location. There’s a patio but many smoker abound. So unless you are a smoker you won’t enjoy it. The drink I had a Green Tea frap was so full of ice. I didn’t bother to go back as I had already left. There’s no seats for patrons just many hobos using the wifi and studying.

Wow, can this location ever get busy… but they hustle the people through pretty quickly so I’ve never really had to wait for too long. I agree with the comments so far with regards to the seating, good luck! I don’t particularly like the way they’ve changed the layout, having two prep stations(the place where you fix your drink to your liking) right near the door to the North American Centre. It can cause quite the crowd there and people always end up blocking the entrance. They used to have another station near the entrance from outside which I found, dispersed the people much better… but what do I know? As for the staff, the majority of them seem pleasant enough. There are a couple that should, perhaps, choose a career path outside of ‘customer service’. Overall, this location is really convenient for where I work. The price of the coffees & teas, I think, are comparable to other coffee shops… I’ll save my Lattes for special occasions though! :)

Yeah, what can really be said? It’s a Starbucks. I seem to have had a better experience than most with this location. When I showed up there, 2 seats were readily available. The free wi-fi is a bonus, and there’s nothing negative to be said about this location’s service or product. A-OK.

The only good thing about this Starbucks is location! If you meeting someone at Finch Station on a cold winter night, you can get your coffee fix without even getting out in the cold! I don’t think I can ever get a seat here… all the patrons are circling around like sharks ready to jump in any open seats… Most of the patrons are young Koreans. not my crowd but someone might love to people watching here! And the drink I ordered, Skinny Caramel Macchioto($ 3.75) is pathetic. I know why it is call skinny and low in calories. because it tasted like water? hot water? that’s should be 0 calories… and for that price… Now I never want one of those skinny drinks anymore! Free Wifi access… if I can get a chair and table then i might utilize that …

I visit this location quite frequently as the morning and mid-day blues hit me at work. The staff and baristas are nice and after a while start to recognize you. I typically order a tall toffee nut miso adding a little honey and chocolate afterwards. So I’m not your crazy starbucks coffee drinker with 7 customizations to my order. But I do order a variety of drinks pending on the need and how tired I am. I’m gonna try the tea route, so visits should drop. PS to patrons, this place gets fairly busy in the mornings so prepare an extra 10 or even 15mins in the mornings sometimes before heading into work. The Christmas message on today’s cup: When I give gifts I always get more in return. Funny, isn’t it?

Contrary to the other review, I found the staff helpful and fast. They are pretty consistent with most Starbucks locations. Also, they are in a good location.
