Don’t bother going without model number, not exactly helpful… and old dude had brutal halitosis! Research and order on line from USA… lots cheaper…

I came in here and basically lost my mind. They have so many niche things for your home. I came in looking for a water filter for my fridge, as they are the only place that sells them in the city. I left with that plus a special cleaning cloth thingie for a glass stove top that while terrible at getting out burnt on stains, gets minor stuff out and makes it look like new.
They have all sorts of special cleaners for surfaces like marble and stainless steel, lots of appliance parts and all sorts of handy dandy little doodads for your house. It’s a small shop, but it’s very neatly laid out. Service is helpful but there was a bit of a wait to check out.

The lower element of my stove’s oven is not heating up and my father was not sure if it was the element or the circuit. He went to Reliable Parts and staff member was helpful to find the right piece. When he had paid, he asked explained the situation with the stove and asked if he could return it if it ends up that it wasn’t the element. The guy said yes, that he could return it within 30 days. Well, it ends up that it wasn’t the element causing it, so he attempted to return it one week later. They would not take it back. He pointed out what he had been told previously and the guy straightout denied saying it. So here is a warning not to take what they say at face value.

This place has parts!
It was recommended by the dishwasher repair man. We needed a new lower rack, as many of the bits were broken or rusty. This was a 10 year old Swedish machine… not a real common item.
I called this location (there are a few… find the one nearest you), with the model number of the machine. He found that the basket was in the Mississauga warehouse, and offered to transfer it to a location of my choice. It was there by the next morning! Very helpful counter staff at the McCowan store set me up.
As good as it gets!
