I frequent this location not by preference, just convenience. I know Metro is expensive in general. I do appreciate the sales though. Facilities are clean and staff are friendly. Customer service is up to par. And I wouldn’t expect any less.

No matter how expensive Metro is I always end up there. I have to give it to Metro. They somehow know how to position there stores in the right places almost like a convenient store. I love the meats at Metro and the bakery section. My weakest link there. You would find me buying pizza buns, chocolate chip muffins or its famous white cake. Of course the fruits are nice and fresh.

24 Hour grocery store at Keele St. & Lawrence Ave. West. Good prices on meat compared to their competitors. Air Miles points & accepts Air Miles cash for grocery purchases. Coinstar machine for people with a lot of pennies, nickels & dimes & don’t want to count them.

I shop here regularly for groceries and there is some good and bad. The Good: –Daily specials including Thursday’s $ 6.99 wings(you get 15, and the Sweet & Spicy are yummy) –Great prices on meats/fish –Easy layout to navigate –Fresh produce However, I find whenever I shop they are always annoyingly out of stock with a lot of basic items and the Metro at Bayview/Eglinton has a larger supply of organic foods, quinoa and healthy snacks, and cheeses. It’s nice they have a Tim Horton’s and a Winners beside the supermarket. Food is usually fresh, too.

For some reason, when I have access to some wheels, my stomach ALWAYS craves fruit at around 3am. I have been known to frequent this Metro after a club, hanging out with a friend, or during a night of troubled sleep. Always have a decent selection, especially with my fav, grapes. The price isn’t usually that bad, but I’m not used to buying fruit so it may be pricey without me knowing. Cashiers are not in abundance so late at night(or early in the morn). It can be a slow checkout but the reward of juicy grapes is sweet – no literally, the grapes are sweet.
