King High Restaurant

I stopped into the King Restaurant while I was across the street at the laundromat washing the cover to my Ikea couch, as it washes better in a 3x loader…
So I decided to hop across the street and grab some breakfast. I was going to go to Steve’s, but it was the weekend and they would be busy like usual so this was my quickest and easiest option.
I am giving this restaurant two stars as the food was just okay, it defiantly wasn’t fabulous by any means but it was edible.
I decided on the french toast, which tasted fine but I didn’t really want to eat it as I saw the chef (if you wanna call him that) put his hairy gross hands right into the mix! I would at least think (or hope) they he would use something to grab the bread with and mix it into the mix…
What really drove me crazy was when they started talking Greek (I believe) to each other and there was nobody else in the place but me and my lover. it was soo annoying!
My lover got the big breakfast and he wanted some jam for his toast, which we had to ask for and the woman brought back one little package, so he had to ask for a couple more. Those packages are so small you would think someone would have enough brain power to bring a couple…
When she was ringing in the bill, we heard one, two, which should be been our meals then three, four, five rings on the register! What the hell is she charging us for, we ordered two meals and no drinks, even though the water was horrible and there was no damn ice!!!
Turns out it costs 30 cents each for jam! They must be crazy! First, anyone who charges for jam must be insane, especially charging for those little packages, come on! Second, 30 cents, they must be crazy! and finally third, don’t you think it would of made just a little bit of sense to warn us the jam is 30 cents, anyway.
Turns out they just bought the place and that’s what the previous owner used to do, I think if they want some business and maybe even new customers they should do anyway with that right away!
Obviously we were not going to pay $ 1.30 plus tax for jam and they regrudgingly removed it.
