I’ve been coming here for 2 years now. Some barbers have very poor English. My go-to guy is Alex. I’d say he is the best at this location. A bit of a wait, but it’s worth it. 8 $ plus 5 $ tip. Better that any 20 $ haircut I’ve ever had

My grown son goes to Hair King occasionally. It’s not bad for an $ 8 cut, tip extra, nothing fancy, & no wash. I don’t know how well the barbers speak English or are trained, maybe in China, but for everyday, it’s a bargain, unless you have a special affair. Then I’d go elsewhere even for $ 20/$ 30.

Not bad for the price of a basic cut. Quick service, polite staff, all good. $ 8 plus $ 2 tip, can’t go wrong.

My mother was here for a cut, but she was left unsatisfied. She decided to go back the day after to see if they would fix the problem. I tagged along with her because I needed to get something from the supermarket. After I finished, I went into the salon and saw my mom talking to the haircut lady as well as the owner. My mom kept on trying to explain her situation but the owner kept dismissing it. Suddenly, the person who gave her the cut swore at her in Chinese while the owner just watched. That made my blood boil so I stepped in and cursed back. Well hold on, now the owner is offended. Clearly it’s okay to swear at customers but it’s not okay for him to get cursed at. Listen owner: If you don’t want to be cursed at, don’t allow your workers to curse at customers. Stay the hell away. Yes, this place is cheap as dirt, but you will only get … dirt.

This barber shop is very crowdede. When we reached it, at least 10 was in the shopping waiting, and the nearby barber shop was not so busy. The price was the key. Here it charges only 8 dollars for sole haircut. That is no wonder that there is always a queue. The cut itself is fine. You cannot expect too much, right?
