This is my neighbourhood Boston pizza… who doesn’t love to come to their neighbourhood Boston pizza. Here I am today to celebrate a bday of a friend who works late night and only few of us can make it. Arrive at 12. Our hostess katelynn tells us today we are doing last call early around 12.20. Clearly web site says open till 1. I tell her we have friends joining from other part of town. We will order drinks for them. She says well I can give u some drinks as long as you are out by 12.45. Wooooow. Really! !! Is this her apartment she pays lease for? Or a franchise. I especially like the part where when I asked her name the second time. She said Mary Anne. Hospitality business Kate Lynn. What you did was not nice. Bar area!
Pls request day shifts if you can’t work late.
Thanks for earning only my 3^rd 1 star review out of over 200 restaurants I have visited in Toronto in the last year.

Came here around 11:15 for a few beers with my friends for my bday and the sign says they close at 1. Caitlyn said they are closing 15 earlier today after we already order a dessert and a round of drinks. my 2 othrr friends were on their way and they refused to serve us a team pitcher for our last call drink… is that possible? I asked why there was no sign outside and she said «for 15 minutes really?»… I then asked her what her name was to reassure and she said «MaryAnn». she said she can order our drinks for us but WE HAVE TO be out by 1245.
Wow talk about customer server at its worst. I am a bartender too and I can smell bad customer treatment a mile away. My advise: go early, they won’t kick you out!

The service was awful. Waited over ten minutes to be greeted at our table. This was after the manager confronted the hostess about an issue in front of us before seating us. We weren’t asked how our meL was until we were almost done. Oh and I wasn’t informed of a charge for extra sour cream. I enjoy Boston Pizza but I won’t be returning to this location.

We decided to sit in the patio area, however it was clear that there was a lag in clearing the filthy ashtrays on the tables. If an establishment allows smoking, then there needs to be a commitment to clear the tables as appropriate.
The kids menu is the best I’ve seen, and offers a great selection. The appetizers are a little higher priced for the food, and we split the Thai Chicken Bites. It is more like a cutlet sliced with Presidents Choice Memories of Thai sauces with stale udon noodles for around $ 11.00. We also shared a corned beef sandwich with cold fries (we don’t need them anyway). We also were billed around $ 10.00 for a glass of house wine, but I got a massive coors lite for $ 6.99.
Overall, the patio was nice, the food fair, and the kids menu a home run.

In a nut shell the best thing was the music… The manager is sexist however the waitress Sara was very polite and kept apologizing as if it was her fault the food we got was cold. Don’t order the steak bacon wrapped skewers complete waste… The onion rings along with it was burnt to a crisp they crumbled at the touch… And for some reason the pulled pork pasta had fries and onion rings that I assume they tried I pass off as caramelized onions such a shame… I’d never come back it’s not worth the money or time I should’ve went to mc Donald’s which by the way is directly across the street … Sorry BP go back to Boston

Good service but TERRIBLE food. I have eaten here three times now and each time the food got worse and worse. I will not be returning. You will get better food at the McDonalds across the way.

This is the best Boston Pizza location I’ve been to, and I’ve been to quite a few. I really like the baked wings here, the various pasta selections like the jambalaya and the bacon penne, and the sandwiches, the Boston Brute and the French dip. They do a decent Caesar salad here with fresh parmesan & black pepper available for both salad and pasta. The service at some Boston Pizza locations (like the Airport strip) leaves something to be desired, but here at Rimrock, they have the nicest most attentive most caring staff. In particular, I want to single out Ricky M., our usual lunch waiter. He is probably the most perfect cheerful caring waiter I’ve ever met anywhere. He smiles at us when we come in and he makes my day. He never forgets or neglects anything, brings your drink refills before you ask. If you would like to go to Boston Pizza, come here to Rimrock, especially if you’re in Downsview or going along Dufferin. You won’t be sorry.

I have attended this location a couple times before but this one occassion, will be my last time. A friend and I were seated after waiting 10 minutes at the door as the sign said «please wait for hostess to seat you.» We were flippng through the menu for about 5 – 10 minutes before my friend went to te bathroom and asked me to order her a diet coke if the server comes by while she was away. My friend returns and we still havent been helped to drinks yet, even though I asked several people and they all said they would send over our server. We had been sitting for just over 20 minutes before we were first spoken to at our table. We both ordered a diet coke, mine without ice yet she brought both with ice. We then ordered spinach dip for an appetizer, I ordered the three cheese penne, and my friend ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. My friend asked the waitress what sides she could get with her sandwich and the waitress said she didnt get a side — that it was just the sandwich. Upon asking when that changed because my friend orders the same sandwich every time she is at a boston pizza and gets fries with it usually, the waitress said she must be charged for extra fries on the side. My friend then flips to the section of the menu where she was ordering her sandwich from and read outloud to the server, while showing her by guiding along the words with her finger «all sandwiches listed below include one of the following … «The waitress just starred at my friend for a minute and then said ok well what do you want and my friend asked for a cesear salad. Our appetizer came quickly and we were starving so we ate it quickly — we couldnt use our side plates because they were dirty so we ate over the appetizer plate. Our dirty plates and empty pop glasses (they offer free refills) were sitting at the edge of the table until our waitress came over 20 minutes later to tell us another table ordered the exact same thing as us and they were getting the food first so we would have to wait even longer. She starts walking away empty handed and we had to repetatively call her back to ask for refills and to tell her to take away our plates. When we ordered our food, we both ordered a side of hot sauce so two in total. Upon arrival of our food, we didnt get any hot sauce and my food was ice cold. I asked the waitress to heat up my food and bring 2 hot sauces. She came back with 1 sauce and my microwaved meal. Upon asking again for the second hot sauce, she brought me bbq sauce and argued with me that it was hot sauce even after me and my friend tried it and the fact that it was a different colour and consistance. Upon finishing, we asked for seperate bills — our food and drink on 2 bills and split the spinach dip. IMMEDIATELY AFTER ASKING FOR OUR BILLS, OUR WAITRESS SAY DOWN A COUPLE TABLES OVER AND STARTED EATING PIZZA WITH ANOTHER WAITRESS AND GAVE US ATTITUDE WHEN WE CALLED HER BACK SECONDS LATER. She then brings us one bill and is being extremely rude when we reiterate for the 3^rd time that we wanted two bills. She then runs around the resturant yelling to different servers asking for assistance on how to split a bill in half. With the bills when she finally returns, she had charged my friend for a full appetizer cesear salad while it was supposed to be a mere add on side to sandwich (it was a price difference of about $ 5). She had to leave and come back with her new bill and immediately she asks if we need to use the machine for debit or credit card (she called it the machine thingey), before I even opened the bill fold and my friend looked at her new one. We asked her to return in about 2 minutes after we looked at the totals to determine if we were each carrying enough cash or if we wanted to use a card. This was a mistake because she came back about 10 – 15 minutes later. My bill was $ 21 and change so I gave her $ 30 and asked for change — she had to leave the table and ask several servers for change because she did not have $ 8 in change in her float. Upon returning, I put all my change back into my wallet as to not tip her as her service was awful. My friend, who paid on debit did not tip either and upon seeing the print out, the waitress walked away without saying anything to us and was speaking very loudly a couple tables away and while pointing at us, said «look at how much those girls tipped me — absolutely nothing — I cant believe it, whats their problem?» and walks away, leaving her co-​workers starring at us. We got up, complained to the manager who in turn yelled at the girl (who within the 10 minutes of us leaving the table hadnt even cleared it).
I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. We sat for 1.5 hours and were only catered to for all of about 10 minutes.

Well this was not the 1^st time I visited this Boston Pizza location. So now I’ll decide to write a review.
As my friend and I were in the lounge waiting for the Flames-​Leafs game later in the evening, we decided to have a couple of pitchers of Rickard’s Dark (ah still waiting for Edmonton bars to get it), and some food. My friend ordered a Chicken Ciabatta sandwich and I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana entrée.
So he liked his dish, which wasn’t too bad. My order was a meal in itself. Their new BP house dressing is kind of like an olive tapenade except less tangy. Very delicious. The chicken parm on the other hand was a little left to be desired. Very thick with breading and didn’t have a lot of cheese. It came with garlic bread and some spaghetti. I didn’t get the usual pepper and cheese until I had to ask. So that was a little bit of a turn off.
The desserts made up for it afterwords. I suggest if you’re dessert freaks, then you should definitely try any of their desserts. TRUST ME!!!
All in all, if you’re looking for a nice night out, watching a sporting event with the boys, or the one you love, if she’s a sports fan, then definitely take some time to visit this location. I believe it’s one of the better BP locations in Canada, or at least I think so. HAHA!

I normally dread having to go to places like this; it’s the combined apprehension of coworker lunchtime (watching the clock), the resonating belching of military personnel from the nearby base burping loudly into their beer, and the fact that this place smells more like a bar than a restaurant. Today, however, the sun was high and the patio was calling our name. Patios can truly make or break a dining experience, especially in this industrial/​commercial no-man’s land.
Not bad! Not too shabby by my standards. Had the steak sandwich with a side salad (on the paltry side) but everything seemed fresh and service was acceptable. Although this place is uncomfortably dark inside, the light of day on the patio revealed that all of our orders were presentable and free of suspicious objects or burnt edges! Yay! Success!
