This is one of my favorite stores in Vancouver. Living in West Vancouver, I look for the rustic natural look and the pieces you will find here are perfect for West Coast living. I purchased the most beautiful L-shaped Mexican pine desk from here which has an incredible work space and 2 file drawers. We have several smaller tables, a TV table, and many decorative pieces which add charm and character. Check it out! Patricia

I love this store. We’ve purchased a few pieces of furniture and the quality is excellent. The store is a tad pricey for us so because we love the style and quality, we wait to purchase what we really want. The owners are friendly and helpful. I can’t wait for our next item.(Dream *sigh*)

This furniture store, specializing in Mexican imported items and traditionally made pieces, is jam-packed. From the moment you walk in the door, you’re surrounded by tables, chairs, chests, and cabinets. I love the solid yet rustic style of Mexican furniture, although the profusion in this store can be overwhelming. Navigation can be tricky, too. Backpacks would not be recommended here. Santa Barbara also carries all the cool accessories that remind me of shopping at Mexico City’s amazing central marketplace. They have tiles, pottery, those distinctive coloured margarita and martini glasses, and many, many items fashioned from wrought iron. The owner, upon seeing my interest in a set of heavy dog-shaped bookends, immediately set upon showing me several other dog-themed items, such as a set of wall hooks, and a chandelier. The other people in the store were just as friendly; for example, kindly cautioning me about a freshly mopped floor. Even though I’m not sure if «hacienda» is about to become my new decorating motif, I was impressed with the warmth and selection of this store. At the very least, it made me long to go back to Mexico. Unfortunately, by the time I left, the Mexican café next door was closed. So I’ll have to return for tacos, and another look.
