I stopped by for a snack and speciality coffee. I was told that the coffee machine was being cleaned so there goes my chance to redeem a free drink. I ordered a cheeseburger to go. However, it became a Tagalog party as two customers after me were talking to staff behind the counter. I assume the customers are either staff or friends. It was unprofessional listening to them talk while I waited for my burger and them chatting away in a different language.

I came here to get a coffee and a hot apple pie and was pleasantly surprised. This is a 24 hr location, and I know that sometimes the ones that are open all the time can be a little messy and grubby from constant use. Not this location: it was very clean, bright and welcoming. There were even some decorations up for Christmas, which made the atmosphere a little festive. My coffee was very good(better than Tim Hortons, even!) and there was lots of seating to choose from. The staff were quick and friendly and I will definitely be back for more coffee(and probably pie, too).

I never thought I’d say this… but I guess when I had my very first birthday girl tour of Mcdonalds I was a fan! Unfortunately, I was in the wrong opinion health-wise though ;( They try and they try and then try some more to give ‘Mickeyd’s’ the impression of natural and nature to their consumers but it just fails when everything is practically made from chemicals, high sugar and high salt. All that said, I still love their poutine when made right — fries, cheese and then hot gravy in that order. The gravy melts the cheese. I love their cinnamon roll and salads. Ufnortuantely so much salt makes it hard on my heart! This location: Always clean and great service. Nice friendly people at all hours including late night. Food is better prepared and fresher tasting than other locations in North Vancouver. Inside lineup faster than outside. Cinnamon roll was cool-cold when bought once — hot is the only way!

This location is always busy since it is on transit route. These days since it has been blistering hot the line ups have been out the door for the $ 1 iced coffee. Myself I came here for the ice cream. I am aware that it is made from the lowest quality ingredients, however, there is something that is comforting about dipping your fries in ice cream. Line up moved fairly quickly and efficiently.
