Oh what a treat! I visited ‘le fil rouge textiles’ at the ‘make it’ event at the PNE and was simply thrilled! The owner manned or should I say ‘womened’ the booth and she was just a gem, fitting her wares on display! The quality of her textiles is something else and for that the prices are very reasonable. Born and raised in Europe, I have been a fan of linen for as long as I can think. If treated correctly, linen can last forever — golly gosh, I have tea-towels and clothes that are nearly 16 years old and still in great shape! The owner will give you all the advise you need, to keep your linen ware in excellent condition and enjoy it for many, many years to come. While I am a real linen enthusiast, it never occurred to me, that I could try the textile as a bath towel. It does make sense though, as linen is a highly absorbent material, so I walked away with 2 bath towels. I am 100% certain, that they will make me extremely happy and if not, I will let you know!

I saw this booth at Portobello West over the weekend. High quality scarves and textiles. I came here cause the lady working the booth was super friendly and sweet. I wish there was more colours in her designs. Very pricey.
