Freshslice Pizza

Maybe not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but a slice for $ 2.99 including a pop, it’s pretty darn good.
It’s a good stop in just to tide you over til dinner!

I thought I would try this one out as there are many decent pizza places in North Van. I ordered pick up and they said it would be ready in 20 – 30 minutes. I ordered hot wings and a pizza with bacon, sausage tomato, green peppers and banana peppers and double and additional Parmesan which of course I paid for. I picked it up about 30 minutes after I ordered. The wings had not hot sauce on them and were dry (I got some hot sauce on the side). The pizza had no tomatoes, no bacon and no green pepper… and almost no cheese. They may have sprinkled some parmesan powder on top and it was ice cold. I think they took one of the existing pizzas that they had sitting under the heat lamp and tried to morph it into my order. When I got home, two bites and the whole order went into the garbage. Revolting is probably the best word.;

I received a coupon for a free pizza from Fresh Slice.
The manager on duty at the time said he didn’t except the coupon, even though it was addressed for that store only.
He got defensive and his raised voice caused the few patrons to get up and leave before we followed.
I then emailed about the incident, and got no response. On a second attempt at going in a different manager was there, the other guys boss. The guy began to berate him for not accepting the coupon and had our pizza made. When we got home we found it was not as we had ordered and some toppings were wrong.
Close, but no cigar.

Good pizza for the price. Not the best but not the worse. Not as much toppings or sauce compared to other pizza joints. Got two $ 10.99 take out pizzas to share at work. Everyone was happy :)

Just ordered from this location for the first time. DS’s 6^th birthday party is at Mickey McDougall CC tomorrow afternoon. The man I spoke to was courteous, patient and made every effort to give me a great deal. Very pleased! He even offered to cut the slices into half-​slices so the kiddos wouldn’t waste as much. Fantastic!
I know a lot of people knock Fresh Slice (my DH included), but I personally love it, and the kids gobble it up like nothing else! Thanks for the great service!

solid 3.5 stars, this one is clean & got the Lonsdale vibe.

It’s good pizza, not great, but one’s gotta compare apples & oranges, but it’s good bang for your buck.

Just when you think it couldn’t get better, then it does: Tuesdays are $ 1/​slice
Pizza is fresh, tasty and oh so good. I especially love their pizza’s with red/​green peppers but ham & pineapple rocks on too.
