I’ve heard many great things about Echo Café and on numerous occasions, even ventured inside to see what lay in their display cases. However, the very laid back and welcoming atmosphere of this particular location drew everyone in, and they have everything from donuts to scones to paninis and even cookies! … In additions, this young couple owner, Echo and Dima, supper friendly people, I would definitely recommend friends to Echo Café.

This is a really lovely spot, and the couple who run it are so nice. Get the soup, it’s the best!

Young married couple run classy coffee shop. They take pride in their product and service. Great variety for breakfast and lunch for a coffee shop. Lots of seating and open atmosphere. I’m a regular!

Rad spot for when you need a respite from the LG emerg waiting room because you don’t spend enough time in an environment like that and your frazzled nerves need a bit of a break. Oh and as others have mentioned, the Americanos and quiches are the fortifying boost you deserve before heading back up the street :)

This new café is becoming one of my new faves for lunch in the area. Good menu and good prices. They have a great soup & scone combo for lunch and delicious panini too. Absolutely love their Americano misto. The staff is very friendly and they are always ready with recommendations. I am definitely going to be a regular here.

This café has quickly become one of my favourites. Their Americanos are impeccable, and their quiches are mouth-watering(this coming from a former Montrealer). The owners prepare everything themselves, including the baked goods like the shortbread cookies(decadent and oh-so-worth the calories) and cheese cakes. Clean décor with a bit of a minimalist flair — a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Am hooked.

Dropped in for the«soft opening» of the café. Double short espresso was both double and short — which cannot be taken for granted. Rhubarb pastry was very good. I’m a little less heartbroken that the previous café in this location closed — at least now I know I’ll still be able to get a good espresso. I’ll definitely be back.
