I ordered delivery from here last night and the pizza was actually really good. The crust was thin and the sauce was delicious, two things that make or break a pizza for me. I ordered one medium pizza and it didn’t cost that much less than the 2 for 1, so next time I’d order two smalls. My only complaint about the experience was that the delivery took 1hr and 20 mins! And then the tip option on the terminal from the delivery guy was automatically set to 18% — what?! Next time I will just go and pick it up, because the pizza was actually decent.

Not to say that I wouldn’t come here again, just if I’m in the mood of non-neopolitan pizza, then this is a more than decent place. While not authentic nor claiming to be – think it’s Persian-run, but the pizza by the slice does the job, the Hawaiian more than adequate. Small place but clean. Really mom and pop judging from their POS styem but I digress. Isn’t as greasy as the Fresh Slice but since my work project in North Vancouver ended a few weeks ago, have to say even the FS on Lonsdale totally trumps the sleaze ones in Vancouver’s east side and downtown for that matter, but I digress again. They deliver. Easy to pickup as they’re right beside an alley. But considering they’re right across from Colosseum Pizza, is there any doubt?

Always great pizza… and for the past 5 years we’ve lived on the north shore. Real, handmade pizza. thanks.

«Doctor Doctor give me the news, I gotta bad case of loving you!» Yep, that’s gonna be stuck in your head now. Bet you wish you didn’t start reading this review. It’s so cliché right?! But I actually started singing this in my head while I walked home munching on a slice of Hawaiian. I just happened to walk past this place with the BF on the way home from Sailor Hagar’s. We put it on our«to try» list but rather than forgetting about it like we normally would, we went the very next day. I love how quaint and small this place is. Typical ma and pa joint. I love it. The owner served us and even let me have a magnet for my fridge. Cute. Come to think of it, I haven’t referenced that magnet yet. I think I just figured out what’s for dinner tomorrow night. A hawaiian pizza would go perfect with the 6-pack of Granville Island Honey Lager sitting in my fridge. Yep, gonna call the Doc and a get a strong dose of calories. For all you Unilocalers and non-yelpers alike, Doc’s is a must try. Whether you’re hung over, feeling like eating your emotions away(hey, it works for me) or just need quick bite? Head to Doc’s, he’ll fix you up. On a side note: There is nowhere to sit, so plan on taking out! Cheers.

Great pizza! Not as cheap as other pizza by the slice places. I tried the salami/greeen pepper and hawaiian slices. Both are good and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. 2 slices cost $ 5.95. This isn’t a place to take a date, it’s a hole in the wall. It’s probably smaller then an apartment in Yaletown.
