What an unfortunate day. My favourite pizza place in North Vancouver let me down. I paid $ 50 dollars for two pizzas and both of them were wrong. The manager said she would send out new pizzas in an hour and now 3 hours later, no pizza. We call her and she pretends not to know who we are and hangs up. Now she has started to ignore my calls. Well done deep cove pizza! I’m going to the Raven!!!

This place is on the main street. The pizza is price at $ 4 a slice. But the quality, IMO, is good. The pizza crust is crispy and not soggy, the ingredients is perfectly cooked. There isn’t much seating besides a few tables in the front. The girl that was there was very friendly and she was fast with the food.

Freshly made and quite delicious. A bit steep at $ 4 a slice, but one of the best I’ve had in a while!

Decent pizza, but nothing to write home about. It’s nice that is is a convenient walk-up place in Deep Cove. That convenience makes up for the very average taste.

I really like the sliced potato pizza they serve here. But there are a couple of reasons I wouldn’t come back. Firstly the service is unfriendly and secondly the person who makes the pizza also handles the cash. Last time I ate there I didn’t see her wash her hands after handling the money. That might have been a one off but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Overpriced and rude customer service. Me and a girl went to this place because we were still hungry from eating something just before. We just wanted a slice and it’s ridiculously high at $ 4 a slice. I don’t care where this pizza place is, why so expensive? Very small, oily and its white flour, not top notch flour from Italy at all. There are other pizza places nearby there that are cheaper and better. I could go a few doors down and get a full pizza for $ 12 – 13. Or Commercial Drive for $ 1, or a better place that makes REAL Italian style pizza. There was a young boy and an asian girl working. She was fairly nice but the guy was a jerk, very rude with a bad attitude. Looked like he didn’t want to be working there that day. He didn’t want us to use the debit machine to buy a single slice of pizza each and said«we don’t like doing single $ 4 dollar transactions.» why not ?? He was even rude when I had to use the machine, and he never smiled once or tried to. My friend asked if there were any other seats, because there’s hardly any seating room at this place. Then he got abrupt when he said that we could go someplace else when there were no seats available. It was just a question that my friend made. He could have simply said«no, we’re not a large establishment — I wish we had more seats». You know, something like that! He was a jerk all around and I would never return to this place. I would rather bring my own food or just get something at one of the other places and there’s plenty of them. The pizza didn’t even sit right after I ate it and I felt a little irritated in the stomach. It was probably made hours ago and it was pulled out of an oven so it wasn’t even fresh. Avoid and go somewhere else that’s better for your budget, you know, like 1 of the other 2 – 3 pizza places on the same block!

Great pizza. made to order. Only negative would be the price. Our medium pizza was over $ 20. Among the small shops near the water, so great location! May be back.

Got the pepperoni and ham on a cold wet night. It reminds me of back when I was in college and ordering from Domino’s. You eat it because you’re hungry and don’t think about it after you’re done. To deep cove pizza’s credit, they took the time to cook the pizza right. The guy who took the order was friendly. All in all, an ok experience.

I love pizza of all types, from Barbarella in Vancouver to a good-quality frozen pizza from Safeway. The pizza from Deep Cove is near the bottom of my list due to its crust, size and price. The crust isn’t chewy and instead is a firm, bread/cake type that is anemic looking. Yuck. We waited in a short line that took forever. It moved slowly. When the slices came out, it felt like a scam … they were so tiny and around $ 4 each. The taste was ok(a little greasy), but the crust was off-putting. Not for me.

If you’ve never had artichokes on a pizza then you’re seriously missing out. Deep Cove Pizza makes interesting pizzas with seriously delicious and fresh ingredients. My favourite is the Siciliana — with prosciutto, artichokes, parmesan and fresh basil, hold the anchovies. Paired with a root beer — this is the best darn Friday night meal I’ve ever had. Some of the employees are really friendly too — good conversation while waiting for hot pizza from the oven. For some reason, the owner refuses to accept debit card. I feel bad for the employees who have to take responsibility every day for this poor business decision. More than once I’ve had to drive all the way back up to Mt Seymour Rd to find a cash machine.

Patate con Aglio sounded interesting. Coming from Korea, where potato pizza is fantastic, I thought we’d give it a try. Oops. This is thinly sliced, almost raw potato with thinly sliced, almost raw onions, topped with a bit of crumbled feta, sliced garlic, and absolutely no sauce. Is is the worst pizza choice I’ve ever made? Not quite, but it’s competitive. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, that couple sitting beside us is chowing down on what looks like a seriously delicious pepperoni pizza. Dripping with oily, cheesy goodness, thick crust, hot steaming sauce… Yeah… We definitely chose the wrong thing. Don’t try the fancy stuff. Keep it simple, and I think Deep Cove Pizza will treat you right. #30DaysOfYelp(13⁄30)

Had a couple of rewarmed slices for a lurch after a bike ride for Vancouver, the Pizza was tasty. I enjoyed the onion and white sauce, but the veggie slice i had need a bit more tomato sauce to meet my taste buds

My boyfriend took me here all the way from Port Moody, and now I know why. Amazing pizza made by friendly and helpful staff, with quality ingredients. Not sure what kind of cheese they use, but it’s the best I’ve ever had. Had the prosciutto one this time. Definitely coming back out to try another soon.

The Pizza here is good, not great but good. However, it’s worth the trek for the experience alone. The owner of this place has to be one of the most outgoing and friendly people in the city. Every customer that walked in she was able to strike up a conversation and put a smile on their face. When you pie is ready(they’re all baked to order), sit on the bench outside and watch the comings and going of Deep Cove. It’s simply wonderful.

Best Pizza I’ve ever had except for a place in Seattle I tried once. We love coming here in the summer and ordering a large number 5, and eating it at the beach. Lots of gooey cheese, fresh toppings and an amazing crust. We enjoyed some last night and I remembered how amazing it is!

Had the Cove Pizza today it was a Pit stop after boating to Indian Arm, tied up on at the public dock then walk up the hill to Cove Pizza. called 45mins ahead and still had to wait aleast another 30 mins,(very busy and popular joint) Was very surprised by the price $$$$ almost $ 70 for 3 pizzas. Felt like I was in Whistler Mind you the pies were good but not great. Very greasy pan pizza. I admit it hit the spot but not worth the price. No debt cards accepted at Deep Cove Pizza.

Deep Cove Pizza makes the best pizza in Vancouver. The crust is thin, the toppings are fresh and tasty and they quite simply have the absolute best flavour combinations. Our favourites are the Siciliano and the Patate. There is nothing better than sharing one of their pizzas in the park at Deep Cove on a warm day.

I lived in the cove or near the cove for the past 15 years and as far as I can remember, Deep Cove Pizza has been there. I recently was down in the cove and my 10 year old son was dying for a slice of Pizza. The slices are quite small for $ 4, compared to other sell by the slice pizzerias. The Pizza is tasty but I feel pricey for the size you get. There is some outside seating but that’s it. It really is a place take out or a grabbing a quick slice while you are enjoying the cove.

Tasty pizza hidden away. I decided I had to try those amazing sounding doughnuts from Honey’s, in the same strip as DCP. I was travelling all the way to Deep Cove from Langley, so I phoned ahead to make sure they would be open. Long story short, they said 6, but when I got there at 5:02 they were closing and the guy in front of me bought all the remaining doughnuts they had. :(In my sorrow I wandered around and thought hey, that pizza place looks alriiiight. I was impressed with the detail that the owner(I assume) was telling me about their pizzas, all the herbs they use they pick themselves, and the vegetables etc are sourced locally. Its nice to have a little background explained when you are somewhere new. It also explained the prices… I bought two medium Italian style pizzas, the Palermo, and the Sicilian. Just under $ 50 for the two of them. :O Having recovered from the price, I went to an atm nearby to get some cash. While there I checked my lottomax and discovered I won $ 20. Yay! That softened the pizza price blow a little. I ate it on the drive back, and for breakfast today, its truly good pizza, but the crust needs a slight bit of work. I’m not sure what it was, but maybe a little lesscrusty, and should be more chewy perhaps? I recommend!
